General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

The announcement on reddit still hasn't been replaced, they might be realizing they slapped a hornet's nest by siding with China and discussing how to proceed.

In the end, I expect either non-CN streamers to no longer be posted on Bilibili or a new rule about not having chat on screen. There was already a Taiwan donation on another streamer's stream.

There is ALWAYS Taiwanese donations, in every single one of them, they appear as HKD

Those also have appeared but are always ignored, same as the ones that say "Trans rights", "Black live matters" and such
I mean they appear on screen but I forgot about Chinese mainly reading squiggle boxes.

I can't believe I'm defending any Reddit, but the Hololive one, from what I've seen on the Meme Reviews; is genuinely one of the better ones. I don't think it's exempt from the genetic flaws that are intrinsic in any Reddit, but it's the least shit one out there, especially after the purge.

What is the actual punishment for VPN use in China? Think anyone has actually been reported?

People get ganked over there for even having the Tiananmen copypasta POSTED. Not even by them, just by anyone who is in the same server or webpage or whatever as them. I think that shit even visually registers GIFs, so yeah, if the CCP finds out you're jumping over the firewall, you're probably fucked.

Far as i know you get fined depend of the stuff you were viewing, if you went full haram against the CPP you get jailed with a couple of beatings to make you repent

The beating is deserved

Why not just tell China they’ve been suspended and block their accounts from Chinese internet internet out still let them stream anywhere else?

Reading through the /jp/ hololive thread and apparently there might be a chance that Watame or Korone might also get suspended because there's footage of both of them mentioning Taiwan, according to thread either of them getting hit (especially Korone) would most likely trigger a huge wave of angry spic posting.
An autistic war between Allied Weeb powers (American, Taiwanese and Spics) vs mainland CCPincels.

I'm in, press :1: motherfuckers!! :woo:

ETA: Thread theme

How fucking stupid/brainwashed must you be to use a VPN to avoid strict CCP censorship, only to get mad when you see/hear something that doesn't conform to CCP doctrine?

What do you expect? I wager most of them didn't even set up the VPN themselves, they probably paid someone to set it up for them.

r/Hololive are now in shill mode trying to control the spergs in fighting the chinese creating a autism of hate that will not achieve anything, the only thing that can help right now is a guarantee of some way that Cover are not going to kick Coco and Haato out, that is the main reason of the rage, they dont want another Aloe situation but Cover keeping their mouth shut and the other girls be forbidden to talk about those two are not helping in any way

Would HoloLive even retaliate against Chinese vtubers over Taiwanese outrage?

The poor taiwanese are in a very weird crossfire here, they are glad for people actually giving a shit but they dont want that the chinese sending the other 5 hololives of china to gulags because of them

Does those retards even know about account selling?

Edit: Artia my dear, stop, dont speak about it, ignore it, close your eyes, if you at least direct some kind of attention they are going to use it to fuck you up like the did with Aloe (she retweeted that and added a answer to bump it)
