It's nowhere near October, but one ensemble is already on track to be named the most controversial Halloween costume of 2015.

Social media users were out in full force on Monday criticizing several Halloween retailers for offering a Caitlyn Jenner costume reminiscent of the former-athlete's Vanity Fair cover earlier this year.

While Jenner's supporters condemned the costume as "transphobic" and "disgusting" on Twitter, Spirit Halloween, a retailer that carries the costume, defended the getup.

"At Spirit Halloween, we create a wide range of costumes that are often based upon celebrities, public figures, heroes and superheroes," said Lisa Barr, senior director of marking at Spirit Halloween. "We feel that Caitlyn Jenner is all of the above and that she should be celebrated. The Caitlyn Jenner costume reflects just that."

the homeowners, who are parents to young children, believed the sign could facilitate a potential dialogue on race.

The pretentious mush mouthed pseudo-intellectual waffle of modern wokeshit never fails to be absolutely fucking insufferable. Its obvious why this is done, as vomiting out essay length buzzword filled descriptions of the smallest and pettiest and most unimportant shit imaginable is an easy and cheap way of virtue signalling in both social and professional contexts, and you can be assured that anybody who engages in this horseshit is an absolutely worthless specimen looking only to improve their own personal image and standing.

I hate that stuff like this is considered newsworthy. “Someone stole a sign, oh no!”

Not that I hate that it happened, just the tone of the article.

Especially when Trump sign theft is denied, ignored and outright applauded by the same outlets/moralists.

Anybody who engages in this horseshit is an absolutely worthless specimen looking only to improve their own personal image and standing.

The purpose of virtue signaling isn't to impress the signaled, it's to impress the peers of the "signalee", because all the yard signs and inclusive media measures in the world don't fix the fundamental problems of inequality. It's just a selfish way to wash your hands of responsibility while claiming you did something. Congrats, you put a BLM sign in your yard, did that put a high school diploma in ANY black kid's hand? Or give him a job opportunity? Or make it less likely he'll be shot for his wallet by a gang-banger who doesn't care?

Before we had black Disney Princesses, hood rats shot each other over sneakers and bags of drugs.

Now, AFTER we have had black Disney Princesses, hood rats still shoot each other over sneakers and drugs, and on top of that, demand removal of the police trying to keep a lid on it as "White Supremacy".

And through it all, the pro-Princess crowd was patting themselves on the back as not responsible as they voted time and time again for civic leaders who made everything worse. It couldn't be ME, I was all for that black-remake of Cinderella, think of all the black girls it must have inspired!

While those who actually went into the breech of the inner cities and tried to directly help were labeled racists, as they clearly didn't care about representation in Disney movies, what more proof do you need of an evil heart at work?

People who put out signs are just wallowing in white guilt like a Victorian woman fainting on her couch at the mere mention of nudity. Frailty and learned helplessness, dressed up as moral fiber, and nothing more.

They're moral Lilliputians, cowards even, who are praying to non-existent Woke Gods to save the world in their name, without having to do more than plant a cheap mass-produced sign on their own property.... and call it brave.

Where they see "BLACK LIVES MATTER" I see "NOT MY PROBLEM!"
