I love how he was mentioning the $150 chargeback and was talking about how he was worrying about the cost for the doctor's visit/solution for the ear situation + that he doesn't "have a lot of money for that right now", and ending that segment with:

"...but yeah, that has nothing to do with you guys, that's all stuff going on behind the scenes".

The guilt-tripping is MASSIVELY strong.

His suffering is delicious.
IF he is. This alignment of ear infections with WWE Champions events is pretty suspect.

Now he’s claiming the LLC tipper is charging back $150 in tips.
Isn't that only a weird fraction of what he tipped though? I feel like his best bet would be all-or-nothing if he's trying to win them.

IF he is.
Point taken, but him dealing with medical shit is an inevitability. If not now, then later. If he isn't, I'm happy to use this as an opportunity to imagine what it will be like when he does. I'm never more glad to be on this board than when Phil is suffering for his own hubris and stupid decisions.

The nearest urgent care is a 35 minute drive? And that's too far to drive for Phil's own health?

Somehow it wasn't too far for him to drive when Leanna was in the urgent care, and they were already broken up, right?
its not the 35 minute drive but the 2-3 hour wait to see someone, even pre-covid the few times I had to go to urgent care ive never waited less than 2 hours even on a slower day. he can't afford to miss a day of streaming, he needs that money for his daily bills! the $300+ he made yesterday has already been spent on yesterday's bills!

He was probably calling to see what doctors were in network for him.
This, especially if he never bothered to establish care with a PCP, which definitely sounds true to form. Someone on the board identified what sort of Obamacare plan he selected for himself and iirc it was the cheapest one; given his proximity to Seattle all the offices and UCs around him probably accept all the plans and providers offered to the big employers in the area enough to the point that they don't need to have agreements anywhere else. Fucked up as that may be on a larger scale, it's Phil's stupid ass that insisted on paying as little as possible and relying mainly on not getting sick. That's risky for people younger and in much better shape than him; it's absolute stupidity for a middle-aged sedentary man with numerous identified chronic issues.

This is the same reason Phil is even more screwed when his teeth start crapping out on him. Getting an appointment during the pandemic, finding someone to take the cheap-o floor level Obamacare dental coverage, and paying out of pocket at least $300 per tooth...

He can definitely milk the money from his paypigs, but there won't be any instant gratification for it, and OTC painkillers that would get a normal person to just functional will probably not be enough for the King of Suffering to soldier on through his strenuous job of playing video games all day.

Perhaps this is his refusal to get his post-nasal drip fixed? You CAN get it fixed he just refuses because he's lazy and greedy. Seriously though, can you imagine how much force he has to use to snort like he does? Try it yourself. You probably can't replicate the sound he does unless you try really hard. And he does it hard tens of hundreds of times a day. No wonder it's effecting his ears.
