Hmm. I wonder though, if that would be a perfect reason FOR her to want to do it? Hiding behind a cute, kawaii anime girl 3D v-tuber filtered ARvatar would let her be as fat, messy, and sloppy as she wanted in real life without anybody seeing her. She wouldn't even have to wash herself, get dressed, put on makeup, or clean her hair ever again. No more minimum effort amazon-bought costumes or uncomfortable bikinis either. No more lipo or other surgery, and who cares if she keeps gaining more weight? The AR v-tuber anime Moomoo always looks exactly the same!
So... the other farm is having a slapfight debate over whether Moo cosplaying Nezuko is pedo-baiting. I know the character is young but she A) has a very adult figure (lumpy as it may be) and B) honestly barely resembles that character in question and is just showing off her sag bags. I'm not going to try to claim pedo-baiting with loli characters doesn't happen but in her case specifically am I wrong in thinking that it's less that and more that she's just a dumb weeb that latches onto whatever is currently popular?
This isn't exactly about Moo....but imho cosplaying as a character under the age of 18 doesn't automatically sexualize them just because the person dressed as them is an adult. She looks like total shit in those photos, but she's just sitting there. I don't know this series, but I take it this character is a child? Until Moo spreads her asshole again then it's not pedobaiting yet.
I am agreeing with you that characters that are minors are a touchy subject, cause the lines of what's okay are blurred. Not powerleveling, I hope, but I like cosplay and have done a Sailor Senshi before, most of whom are only 14. Those outfits are microskirts that show aaaaaallllll the leg, and heels for days. I wasn't doing anything sexual at all, but just walking from point a to point b felt a little risqué. The age of a character alone does not inherently mean loli/shota/pedo etc. It's all about intent and attitude and context.
Bringing it back to Moo though....I am sure she is GOING to do something disgisting and stupid, but so far all she has done is worn a bad costume and be fat.
