I suppose that's one way to get people used to perpetual semi-isolation from the world. Will they be serving bugs to these pod-dwellers?And here I thought Bubble Boy was a stupid 90s comedy...

Having a heart attack? Self-isolate, call us if it gets worse. Or just kill yourself.
I've not had to deal with it yet, but you're right that it took a long time coming. It's part of the NHS reforms they've been pushing through over the last few years, the ones that are supposedly "privatising" the NHS.I'd be interested to know if other bongers have come across this online IT questionaire bullshit. Maybe it's been going for a while I don't know. Happy to be corrected, happy to hear other opinions.
Had to go to A&E for a scare a while back and it was less retarded but I don't know if it would have been the same if I went to a normal doctor's and this is in Scotland.LONGCAT IS LONG
Joke’s on them, very little chance of a “second wave” down here since we don’t have to huddle inside breathing each other’s air in the winter any more than the summer, so there‘s nothing in the weather to escalate it. We barely have a flu season where I am.I'm seeing a lot of cope in the media bc Flordia is returning to normal and not that faggoty "new normal" the bugmen and Karens talk about.
Get fucked assholes, its just the coof. God bless Ron DeSantis.

Why won't people just give up human interaction and do what they are told without fighting it?

Georgia said screw it a while ago, and it seems like the media went radio silent about them after a week or so of nonstop bitching.

The NHS has been commanded to reduce costs.
The most sensible way to do that would be to get rid of a few layers of bureaucracy, fire a few thousand middle managers, maybe streamline processes so that hospitals are more responsive to local needs. The least sensible way to do that would be to replace patient-facing roles with automated systems that require more bureaucracy, to collate and administer all of the new data that comes from these highly invasive automated systems.
Naturally, the second option was chosen. The managerial class can only ever act in ways that expand their power and control.
There's also some problem with the contracts GPs have negotiated - they get paid by the number of registered patients at their practice, so they've been stuffing more onto their rolls, but at the same time they've been reducing visitation times, and avoiding consultation altogether when they can. It's turned into a graft.
And don't get me started on the bloody dentists. Mine is refusing to see anything other than emergency patients right now. I'll have to go private if this carries on. Hell, it might even be cheaper...
Is it really that shocking that a country founded on the ideals of personal liberty is full of people that will tell you to fuck off when you try to get them to give up practically everything in their lives that gives them joy? I'm reminded of the footage of the Los Angeles skies on the Fourth of July, ablaze with thousands of fireworks after Garcetti banned them, a giant flaming "fuck you" to the nanny state. Why won't people just give up human interaction and do what they are told without fighting it?

Not that I disagree in principle, but 180 can be a perfectly healthy weight and going down to 130 would be on the lower end of believable for a 6 ft man. There's another scare story out about a healthcare worker who spent two months in ICU in an induced coma. He's described as "fit and healthy" before he got sick, but later in the article they say he lost 3.5st. (22kg/50lbs) while in there. So he was overweight if not obese which is the biggest risk factor after old age. I know people in the west have a warped idea of what a healthy weight is but it's so dishonest to act like it's not a preexisting condition.
In other (late) news, dissenting points of view are getting some airtime

Fair enough. He's looking good now. Maybe the coma was good for him.In theory yeah, I'm basing the claim that he was overweight on current photos where he's not skinny at all but still supposedly 22kg lighter than before, and I'd be shocked if he was anywhere near 6'.
