A Castle Doctrine also states that a person has no “duty of retreat” (avoid the conflict at all cost) when one's home/abode is under attack. The State of Arkansas technically does not have a Castle Law. However the state does have self-defense laws in place to protect person and property.

Castle Doctrine doesn't apply to a crazy dude just ringing your doorbell.

At best, I can't see Boogie escaping this without a brandishing charge and whatever local law he has about discharging firearms close to a residence. Boogie is fucked.

If the firearm was legally owned by his roommate, who gave him access to the weapon, I'm curious to see if the BATFE wants to go after him for allowing a drug user access to his firearm. Doubtful, but would be an interesting turn of events.

He's going to be stress eating Marco's Pizza until he gets charged by his county prosecutor.
