Do you think they could afford to just tell china to fuck off? How much of their revenue is from bibliblbii or whatever the fuck it's called?

Almost all the money come from Youtube, they only watch it by proxy, is more like a freebie to rise viewership, they dont gain anything that is why you don't see Yuans on superchats

Cover deserves whatever is coming for them, you don't set a branch in China and not include taboo topics such as the T word in your induction training, they're cutting the wrong corners.

There a little misconception, they get a training... for Japanese and american issues , the chinese have their own holos so they comply with how the situation is there, the japanese dont give a fuck and certainly dont have any kind of appreciation for the chinese, definitely less now

Autism is far more prevalent in men than women, and there's a good chance that simply none of the big female vtubers have the required depths of autosm required to get into Microsoft Flight Sim. If you think about it, planes are just trains but in the sky, and Flight Sim is a very ambitious virtual model railroad.

Of course, as I type this, I'm remembering Risu did a stream on Friday consisting of her squeaking a rubber duck for about 45 minutes, so who knows.

At the very least you can divide most japanese vtubers into two camps: former ara ara~ titty cosplay ASMR streamers like your Noels and Tomoes, and then your spergs and weirdos like Korone and Coco and I'm guessing like 80 more of Niji, who will do and play weirdo shit. There does seem to be a burgeoning third camp of "artists slumming it on live to make a paycheck." Of these three, I don't think any of them are more likely to play Flight Sim because that's Athena Bambina levels of virtual autism that none of the companies will stand for it.

Sadly the only Hololive girl who I think is autistic enough to play Flight Sim is currently trapped in Australia, so she's not as likely to fly to virtual Taiwan. Also suspended for 3 weeks over Taiwan in the first place.

Someone dug up a clip from the Karaoke stream Coco has been regularly doing shortly after Asacoco on the day of the of the "offending" issue after hearing that day's Asacoco has been set to private.

No subs but even without them you can tell she's asking what happened to Asacoco and a bit confused as to why it would be set to private, so I think that kills the idea that she knew what happened to Haato and did it to take the aggro off her. Which was a nice noble idea, but played into the idea that it was deliberate provoking on Coco's part.

It could of all been avoided if Haato's manager had a way to alert the other teams of this issue soon as it came up. They basically need to organise that side of the company better so everyone knows if one of the 50+ streamers potentially runs into issues like that again, rather than leaving the political landmine there for someone else to walk on.
