Yeah, I remember leaving in late '06, and hearing from friends that the situation changed almost overnight ('08-'09 iirc).

There were points that entire battalions were essentially confined to barracks, because the polizei or Bundeswehr wouldn't break up protests right outside post gates.

There is a jungenzentrum in Mannheim that we used to go drink, play pool at, & watch live shows, which also happened to be an antifa den. There was an entire room off the bar lined with spent munitions from G-whatever riots, fliers, zones, merch, etc. But hey, they had cheap beer and free pool tables.

The only reason we got away with it is because my German was passable, I'm an old rivethead and my ex-wife was a gutterpunk, so we were able to blend in fairly easily. At that point in my life, I had zero inclination either way politically, but it still amazed me at how easily it was to "infiltrate" their ranks.

Yeah, the box-heads are a weird bunch. As a nation the krautz are deffo a bit autistic, like that other great industrial powerhouse nation - Japan. Just look at their porn. Actually prolly best not to. They are scat obsessed.

There is something in the German psyche that breeds this kind of anti-authoritarianism and rebelliousness. Every action has an equal and opposite reaction, kind of thing. The Japs are pretty laid back on that front though it would seem, but then again, they probably breed the biggest spergs of all but it's just nipped in the bud, so to speak. ;)

I spent a bit of time in Germany and in Austria too. Quite different people. The Austrians are a bit more laid back. I've had relationships as well with German people when I was in London as did many of my friends. I quite like them. It's hard not too, but they definitely have a national character to them.

As for the antifa shit, yeah, that kind of thing is pretty advanced and ingrained over there, even among the krauts I knew in London, then again they were hippy types so to be expected. I knew some programmers that worked for Deutsche Bank and they weren't in to any of that, though they still leaned quite left, probably more than the average brit, so it's deffo part of their make up. Wasn't the whole National Socialist thing of Hitler a Left-Wing movement in essence?

I don't always subscribe to horse shoe theory, but yeah, the krauts can be so far to the left sometimes they come out on the right.

People criticise the Tories but I know far more well-balanced and moderate Cons than I do Labour types. Something about that whole oeuvre that just contains radicalism at its core. It's hard to be a moderate lefty it would seem, though they do exist. I've still yet to meet any far-right Tories, they seem to be more financial and economic right-wingers more than anything else. I'm alright jack and if the mongolian hordes want to invade blighty then I'm ok with that as long as it doesn't affect me and I still get to profit, kind of thing. Still a shitty attitude though, but people are selfish.

Also, sorry for shitposting so much the last day or two. It was a rough couple of days. It's warmed my hardened heart that so many of you have given me such a nice welcome here, and I don't want to abuse that. And yeah, I'm a faggot. There really isn't any other place on the internet where such 'wrong think' is allowed to have a voice. And the conflicting opinions only make this place that much richer again. I'll try not to be so much of a faggot and contribute to that.

One final point about the krauts and I think it might have been you Pocket Dragoon who made it - those fucking German pigs don't fuck about when it comes to police brutality. They have no compunction in cracking skulls. People talk about the militarisation of the American police, but really, as we all have seen, that is rarely utilised. The German police can be outright brutal when it suits them. I guess they have to be though, because as again already mentioned, the antifa apparatus is that much more advanced there. It wouldn't surprise me if there is a new budding Baader-Meinhof (Red Army Faction) gang brooding and breeding there. I guess with the infiltration of current comms things like that get nipped in the bud quite early on, which is a good thing. Might is right, but blowing up innocent civvies is not a good thing, even if it does tend to get you your own way, from a short-term strategic standpoint.

So many people associate the Germans with right-wing shit, but really, it's their far-left shit that makes them dangerous. See the Stazi. And now half those people who worked for the Stazi are working for Facebook.

The left-right paradigm breaks down pretty quick if you scratch it. This is about (((Globalism))) vs. Nationalism. The governments and elites that want to rule the people via hard control, vs. those that just want to be left alone to work and live their lives and grill. This is the paradigm that needs to be broken, but I don't expect for that to come about in my lifetime. Or even your children's lifetime. I wonder if there ever will come a time when man is not in perpetual conflict. The paradox is that the vast majority of people do just want to get along, but a significant (((minority))) work tirelessly to make sure that never happens. My parentheses isn't necessarily to denote da juice, though if the small hat fits...

"hE hAs BrItTlE bOnEs!1"
At this point he has no one but himself to blame. I don't like large crowds, small spaces and loud noises so I don't go anywhere that has large crowds in small spaces with lots of noise, how fucking hard is it for other people to do the same with things they're averse to.

That's the point for why they're doing this. People who are actually fragile (vs. the snowflakes who just think they're fragile) go to these riots so they can get injured and then blame the police for not handling a literal riot delicately. This is also why healthier rioters antagonize the police and intentionally put themselves in harm's way. It's all about the optics, and since cops are human and therefore some are flawed and unprofessional, eventually one of them will give the rioters what they're asking for.

So what's the argument here anyway? Are they now claiming that Walker didn't shoot at police? Because I've never heard that that was in dispute. Walker was ultimately released and isn't being charged, so who was responsible for that injury is completely irrelevant.

saw some friends of mine retweet posts about how Christians are terrorists cause they raised 500k for Kyle, and there really is no point in showing people the truth about the situation cause they are too far gone

I'll add this to my "leftists have given up any pretense of caring about due process" file. Regardless of who's paying, Rittenhouse is entitled to legal representation. Would these chucklefucks prefer taxpayers foot the bill?

Every college & university student is taught how to use Microsoft Office, so companies will just keep using their products for office stuff no matter how shitty they get, it's self-perpetuating guaranteed market share. Presumably MS knows this, so they can save money by downgrading their workforce without losing their guaranteed subscriptions.

You can retrain workers to use different software, and word processing, spreadsheet, and slideshow software are very similar to each other. The real impediments to corporations switching to other software is licensing and business-to-business agreements and institutional reluctance to change.

When my old employer was acquired by a larger company, we were forced to switch from Office Max (which worked well for us for a decade) to Staples, and Staples was shit from day one. There was like a three-week period where they kept delivering shit to us other than the pallet of paper we actually ordered. We weren't allowed to switch back to Office Max though. That would have violated the contract our overlord had with Staples.

An interesting development: Breonna grand jury material to be released.

Kentucky AG Will Release Grand Jury Recording in Breonna Taylor Case

Kentucky attorney general Daniel Cameron agreed on Monday to release the recording of grand jury proceedings in the Breonna Taylor case, following a court order.

Taylor, an African American EMT from Louisville, Ky., was shot to death in a botched drug bust by Louisville police in March. (Police did not find drugs in Taylor’s apartment.) The case received renewed attention following the George Floyd demonstrations against police brutality. Only one of the officers involved in the raid, Brett Hankison, has been indicted by a grand jury on three counts of wanton endangerment for firing his weapon recklessly during the raid.

One of the jurors filed a motion in court on Monday afternoon to make the jury proceedings public. . . . [more there]

Legal situation in Germany remains a joke, dating from the myriad of public gangrapes that occurred by the hands of migrants during a New Year festival to the fact 'antifa' still has institutional control - they just conducted a march a week ago through fourteen German cities that received no police intervention whatsoever, and incurred mostly mass-populist support.

If anything the occasional rioting and temper tantrums thrown by younger antifa do nothing but reinvigorate the older, much more well-established sections of antifa in German communities to come out, do a peaceful march and demonstrate how peaceful and responsible they are to the rest of the country; we should be thankful antifa is nowhere near this evolved in the U.S. - not even fucking close.
It sounds like antifags could hold up Germany to counter right-wing talking points. "See, Germany controlled by people like us, and they're doing amazingly well by every UN-approved metric. Chuds BTFO! " Are they just too ignorant of the rest of the world to use that argument?

Of course we know that Germans are so industrious that they'll do well despite the most ass-backwards political arrangements, but these people don't like acknowledging such differences.

I decided to look into that Antifamily card.

[A few research later]

So it turns out the group that makes these cards appear to be funded by Antifa aligned groups in Germany. The funds from the card even go to Exit Germany. Bit far to go for a spoof.
Wow I was ready to roll my eyes at an obvious Soros funding gag, but these guys actually took their gay bougie LARP this far?

Imagine proudly handing your Antifa(TM) capitalism card to the struggling McBarista at GloboHomoCorp to pay for your Limited Time Only Unicorn-Flavored Roach Slurry Mocha, Sponsored by PepsiCo.

The thing about it is that the cops aren't being charged for the death of Breonna Taylor, which happened as a direct result of their actions. And that the boyfriend shooting first justified that there was no charge regarding Taylor's death.

And if you wanna talk the "girlfriend of a drug dealer" part, that can easily be turned into "she was forced into it",.

One would think, but that is barely true. At a previous job we moved from on site Exchange (on a SMB2003 server, this was 2017) -> Office 365. It was a cluster fuck, even after training and one on one time with me and the other IT Staff the employees still couldn't use web based outlook with out major issues, and this was us hand-holding them every step of the way "babies first computer" style.

Forget about Office 20xx (office 2000 - 2013 little thought was put in to IT long before me or my boss got there and although it was a long time since my boss was there it was a losing battle for IT) -> Office365 (web based), even though they used Word <10% of their jobs only IT, accounting and management got install rights for Office365 as they were the heavy users of Office.

Taylor's case is a cluster fuck, with BLM poisoning the well with lies (warrant was served at the wrong house, etc), police irregularities (not having body cams but then pictures show them with it), but the police acted lawfully per the warrant(no knock), There being evidence that may suggest that Taylor was working with her drug dealer ex, and the Boyfriend acted lawfully (he didn't hear them say police/they never said it) as he though some one broke in to the house illegally.

Taylor shouldn't be a BLM issue, it should be an issue of the use of no knock warrants and when/what to use them for.

Portland Police Spent Nearly $8 Million on Protests in Two Months
https://www.portlandmercury.com/blo...nt-nearly-8-million-on-protests-in-two-months (https://archive.vn/twHUh)

Excerpt:
The Portland Police Bureau (PPB) spent $7,517,276 responding to the first two months of Portland's racial justice protests.
//
The vast majority of PPB expenses during this time period went to overtime costs: Officers raked in $5,012,418 in overtime pay for working extra shifts. Much of the remaining $2 million is divvied up between regular officer pay, benefits, and pensions—which is to be expected.
//
Records show PPB spent at least $83,190 on munitions and other weaponry used against protesters during the two-month window. This includes $1,900 to purchase a gun that shoots pepper balls, and $5,056 on grenades containing CS gas, the potent form of tear gas recently banned by Mayor Ted Wheeler.

Defund the police, lol.

What's with this shield thing that's been taking place since the Proud Boys rally on Saturday? Why have they decided on this tactic now, after four months of riots? What is the legal justification for this?
In the context of parks specifically they are absolutely in the clear.
Fuck they got dox on 44, just today. Saw it while poking around for info on Alix Powell.

snip
Well the good news is that I'm pretty sure they don't need a name to file any of those reports, so I'm 99% sure if 44 was going to get fired it would have happened already.
The other good news is that 44 is no more excessive than any of the other officers and I've seen a lot of 44 so I don't think they've got a leg to stand on.

Sucks about the dox, but from all I've ever seen 44's attitude has always been personable, with a barely contained amusement sometimes tinged with contempt for the protesters screaming obscenities at her, so she has the right attitude for dealing with these people.

I have a distinct suspicion that she's likely to get more weird but supportive messages from fans than hate mail from antifa though...

Gotta hand it to PPB, they were frugal with munitions, I was expecting it to be way more then that.

I'm sure that figure probably included new purchases only. A department in a large city would most likely already have a large stockpile for any civil unrest that may occur (especially somewhere like Portland).
