Details: The debate will be 90 minutes long and have no commercial breaks. There will be no opening statements, and instead Wallace will dive right in with the first question to Trump. It will be divided into six 15-minute segments that Wallace has chosen. They are:
1) The Trump and Biden records;
2) The Supreme Court;
3) Covid-19;
4) the economy;
5) race and violence in cities;
6) the integrity of the election.

After the debates a poll will be posted on who you think won this first debate. Have lots of fun, keep the commentary fresh as I'm sure we've all heard many of the same lines for months and enjoy the beginning of the end of this presidential election cycle. Just as a reminder, on October 7th there will be a Vice Presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.
You can view Joe Biden's megathread here, and Donald Trump's megathread here

Sorry for my language the last few posts, Wallace just pissed me off.

In my opinion, I don't think anyone really "won" per se. I hyped myself up too much regarding Biden's dementia, so Biden turned out okay for me. Trump had a lot of good moments, but because of the stupid moderator they weren't able to land as effectively (as well as not having the "crowd" impact. I know they had the silent rule to not trigger/confuse Biden, but I also think it was an attempt to damper Trump).

I guess the winners were the meme makers, since there'll be a lot of good ones coming from this.

I AM THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY.

This wasn't a debate. Just Wallace throwing Trump loaded questions to prevent any real discussion and Biden mumbling about easily provable things being 'not true, not true, not true' and regurgitating easily disproven hoaxes because he has no real ideas. Everyone lost on this one.
Guess he figured out the leftist staple of gaslighting.
Doesn't really work if the guy you're gaslighting doesn't give a shit about you tho.

And literally recorded everything.
I wonder if Trump's youtube channel is going to factcheck everything Biden claimed, I would love that.
I would also love if said youtube channel stopped uploading 50 second bits every 30 minutes.

Neg rate me or whatever but Trump did fucking awful and clearly doesn't understand even the most basic rules of a debate. I can't stand Joe Biden but Trump did so piss poor at that that he made Joe's bumbling and shady ass look "good" by comparison.

Really? Both men never backed down, well lots of times Wallace jumped in before Biden had to make that decision, they articulated their positions, they revealed a lot and there was much rret's fighting rrrove spirlit. I think both did well.

There was too much talking over each other and rambling and arguing, I had a hard following a lot of it, especially because of fucking Chris Wallace.

I'm not saying Trump did terribly, just that he didn't come off great.
