Details: The debate will be 90 minutes long and have no commercial breaks. There will be no opening statements, and instead Wallace will dive right in with the first question to Trump. It will be divided into six 15-minute segments that Wallace has chosen. They are:
1) The Trump and Biden records;
2) The Supreme Court;
3) Covid-19;
4) the economy;
5) race and violence in cities;
6) the integrity of the election.

After the debates a poll will be posted on who you think won this first debate. Have lots of fun, keep the commentary fresh as I'm sure we've all heard many of the same lines for months and enjoy the beginning of the end of this presidential election cycle. Just as a reminder, on October 7th there will be a Vice Presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.

However bad people thought Biden was, Trump going for the personal attack over Biden's son isn't going to convince undecided voters. His tone also reminded me of an insurgent challenger, rather than someone who has been president for the last 4 years.

I wouldn't say it's that personal since Hunter is a weirdo who has closed shady business deals because of a famous vice president dad and they based an impeachment off of that. Probably could say the same about the Trumpkins but I think they would've ran some headlines by now. The cokehead thing was pretty low, though, even if it's true.

It seems to be the only online one I could find, and also appears to be nonbiased because of that. it's attached to some random new jersey news outlet. Compared to all the CNN/MSNBC/etc polls that they took, it's 50/50 or 51/49 in favor of Trump and has been since the debate ended. Maybe because it's an open poll and not hand-picked?

I knew they'd be hammering him on covid, and I'm so fucking glad Trump pointed out that Biden throws around numbers that are essentially meaningless because they don't exist in the vacuum. Yeah, you don't know how it is in Russia and China, for example, because they wouldn't give anyone real numbers to preserve their image, that's even if they're capable or bother to track it.
So are these numbers as bad as dems are trying to make it look? For the country that's essentially one of the most traveled to destinations in the world (and I'm not talking just tourism)?

Here in Russia they pretend that everything is fine. People have died from the varus but it doesn't get any coverage, doctors generally avoid diagnosing coronavirus and just go with "pneumonia". that's the official policy. I know at least a couple people who's been treated this way.

Biden has some visible fear awash in his face when Trump brings up the conspiracy targeting his campaign/presidency. It's kind of funny how the Dems have ZERO foresight. There were multiple other candidates in the Dem primaries that would have shaken this shit off or held their ground or bounced back. They decided to throw a man with all the fortitude of a damp, mildewing dishcloth into the ring with Trump and it took Wallace going offroad constantly to even give Biden breathing room. Like, WHAT DID YOU STUPID MOTHERFUCKERS THINK WAS GOING TO HAPPEN? Gabbard, Buttigieg, even fucking SANDERS could have done better than that.
