Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

I love how every time Biden does something stupid or gets his hand caught in the cookie jar that's instantaneously 'debunked' without ever actually being debunked beyond them just saying so, but no matter how many times the Trump hoaxes are disproven they run right back into it like it's never been debunked. Lunacy. Literally when has there been any roving gangs of violent right wingers this year? Pretend the "protests" are peaceful and justified if you like, but there's no answering riots on the opposite side of the spectrum. No looting, no violence. Nothing. What violence is he wink-nod encouraging? It's literally never existed.

on a final note: it's not going to mean anything to anyone who hasn't peeked their heads in to the weeb wars containment, but it's a source of great amusement to me that these same kinds of people insisting that Biden getting flustered because Trump is acting like a crazy person pooping on the chessboard instead of playing chess just says Trump is bad, and isn't a slight against Biden ran hard with the idea that Vic's lawyer was terrible at his job for being flustered when the judge acted like a madman during a hearing. It doesn't matter which stance is right, I just love the double-standard.

Separate things, in one you come in expecting a professional interaction from a superior. In the other, its a directly combative and aggressive interaction between nominal equals. Entirely separate scenarios, actors, and situations. Frankly, comparing them is idiotic.

She just believes that he lacks a lot of integrity and generally doesn't carry himself the way he as a president should, what with how he often bullies others, pointing out just how much he bullied Biden and said such mean things about his family.

The way I see it is like this - you can vote in someone nice and agreeable and you'll get the same results as the Trudeau's, Blairs, Obama's and Theresa May's of this world. They'll speak with honey in their mouths to catch your votes, but spend the actual time in office more concerned with their polling numbers and will do shitty things but rely on their spin-doctor team to cook up an excuse for why they had to drone that village last week and have someone write up a real cute speech to convince you those extra taxes they are about to shaft on you are a good thing. After all - if your nice and grin most of the time, people will be more likely to book you for the sweet talk circuit after your term(s)

Also worth noting, Biden did take potshots too. Called Trump a clown, told him to shut up a bunch of times when he didn't like what was being said ect. He wasn't exactly a gentleman on the stage. Trump had better material for roasting. It's basically the whole "omg look at Trump getting in Hillary's space I'm literally shaking rn" all over again.

A leader has to run the show, and sometimes leading means sometimes you have to play the bad guy and be okay that people will not love every choice you make or that it might even screw up your "legacy" - I have more respect for someone who is willing to put that thought aside to do things they know will tank their rep.

It works too, Trump renegotiated a ton of foreign trade deals that had really bad terms that screwed over American business (because the nice ones were not willing to fight for better deals and give more away from US biz for "better relations") or deal with international issues. Granted it's too early to say if Trumps dabbling with international political issues will bear fruit - but he at least managed to get the Koreas trying to understand each other for a while, rather than just maintain status quo because that was easier and "nicer"

That would make sense if that's the angle they came at it, but as they didn't, the allegories line up and conflict. It doesn't matter to me which one is right in this context, I just find it amusing that when presented with the same concept, they'll just jump to justifying whichever side is 'theirs'.

Its nice when someones insanity is apparent by sight alone.

This doesn't bode well for Election Night if/when Trump wins. If they're crying now, lord knows what they'll do on Nov 3. Or whenever they annouce the results.
They are going to be profoundly broken for years, maybe for the rest of their lives. The media is not going to stop with this insanity when Trump is out of the picture, or even when he's long dead. They aren't going to stop with this ever.

After seeing bits of yesterday's debate, I hate to say that I honestly think Trump will win.

Biden is just a bore and doesn't really offer anything positive, his entire platform is "Trump Bad mmmkay", negative campaigning never works

The Democrats need to honestly kick out all the woke people, and bring something new and with charisma to the table

This is how you know Biden lost the debate: When TDS overtakes all conversation about it, rather than reading/hearing statements such as "Biden's performance in the debate tonight brought hope back to America!"

The left is in full-on panic mode after tonight.
RBG dying was bad enough, and the salt from the first debate is crazy. I’m unironically thinking that there will be mass suicides/homicides after the election if Trump wins. Many are demoralized already and I predict it will only get worse.

Nah it will just be "IM LEAVING THIS SHIT HOUSE, MAYBE CANADA, OR ENGLAND OR EUROPE SOMEWHERE" then they realise that we have similar characters as Trump in our political systems just sit on their fat arse.

The Democrats refuse to take in new charisma. Look at what they've done to Tulsi Gabbard, for starters.

I parrot the opinion that someone like Tulsi would have fared very well against Trump. Hell, even Pete Buttegieg would have fared much better. Gabbard and Buttegieg looked the most cool, calm, and collected in the Dem debates last year ... By far.

I was talking to my mom about the debate, and she is actually thinking that she might (keyword might) swing over and vote Biden after witnessing the debate.

The main reason is that she is extremely put off and disgusted with Trump's conduct and attitude he displayed, what with him constantly cutting off Biden, his mean comments regarding Biden's family, and just his overall demeanor and the like being very un-presidential. She also brought up his comments regarding Minnesota, with him saying that they had superior genes (most of the people there are German and Italian immigrants) alongside him saying things like "racehorses", which she finds suspiciously reeking of white supremacist leanings.

Basically, she's not sure if she's gonna stick with Trump because of just how mean-spirited and uncouth he was towards Biden and just in general. How can I respond?

She's right that he was interrupting too much, and the family thing was unseemly (on both sides). But Hunter Biden's corruption was the impetus for Trump's Ukraine investigation, which led directly to the impeachment in January. It's not "out of bounds", it's the most politicized a politician's child has been in recent memory, and it deserves some examination.

As for a response: Trump has always been that way. It just looked better when he was doing it to people everybody hated, like Hillary Clinton, who could also hold her own better than Biden.

Tell her to look at the things Trump does, not says. She isn't going to get a better speaker in Biden, or a nicer person in Harris. But with Trump, at least she gets fewer wars, more peace deals, more trade deals, and someone who takes riots seriously.

They are really latching onto this Proud Boy thing, aren't they? The Proud Boys are a joke, pretty much a meme. They certainly aren't the people burning down cities and fighting the cops for the past 3 months.

I'd wager that the first time most people watching the debate heard their name was last night, they are that irrelevant in real life. Leftists repeatedly fall into this trap of thinking that their twitter bubble represents reality so they think everyone else is as obsessed with the same nonsense that they are.

Other than that, the debate was mostly Trump dragging Biden down to his level to try to get him to say something stupid. Biden reacted with his standard grumpy old man responses in between just going over the same Democrat talking points from the past 4 years.

The Beau Biden breakdown was supposed to be the killshot but Trump quickly pivoted back to Hunter. Same with his "he doesn't know how" line after Wallace said to stop interrupts. So many practised lines it just seemed so fake and rehearsed.
The way Trump just bluntly tells Joe, "I don't know Beau... but I know Hunter." and proceeds to wail on Hunter while Joe can feeble say "My son..." as if he is remembering Beau, but can't deflect because it's not about him.

And Trump only talks about Hunter becuse it's just like the Democrats who say "Americans need to know!" Those folks who busted their asses off under the Obama admin after losing their job that "would never come back" deserve to know that the VP during that time had hookups with country that took your jobs and his son was making bank while you struggled to even find a job.

I am not even sure what or who they are. They seem to be linked to a Canadian of all people

They seem to be cut price wannabe skin heads without the music

Let it go dude and let her vote for Biden.

No one changes their mind based on 90 minutes of pure shit except for undecideds and professional politicians.

She was already looking to vote Biden it seems like and just wanted a excuse to feel good about herself.

Well Biden should not have tied to tie Trump to money from forgien governments when Biden’s family is knee deep in it.

This is what happens in every debate. One side will try and punch the other. The other will then hit back harder. It never has been pretty.
