I am not even sure what or who they are. They seem to be linked to a Canadian of all people

They seem to be cut price wannabe skin heads without the music

They're literally just a drinking club started by Gavin McInnes, the hipster co-founder of VICE. They got famous back in 2017 for getting into fights with Antifa, who showed up at Gavin's speaking events, and winning. The left hates them because they're the tough guys Antifa pretends to be.

Rule #1 for analyzing lefty hate: The right-wingers the left hates the most are whoever is most effective and powerful at the time. If you aren't effective, the left wing doesn't care about you.

They also hate someone who may become powerful. They loved John McCain for the decades he was playing the bipartisan schtick, hated him like a Nazi when he ran for President in 2008, then went back to liking him once he was no longer a threat.

This explains a lot of TDS, by the way. They hate Trump because he's the most effective Republican of the last 12 years.

Colbert: Trump’s Refusal to Condemn Proud Boys ‘One of the Most Upsetting Moments’ of His Life

by Matt Wilstein
Then Colbert zeroed in on “one of the most telling, one of the most upsetting moments, not only of the night, but of my lifetime,” when President Trump was “asked simply to condemn white supremacy.” Instead, the president told right-wing militia groups to “stand back and stand by.”
[...]
“Didn’t do it!” the host exclaimed, before imitating Trump. “‘I don’t support white supremacists. I just command them, like a dog. That’s why I’ve got this shiny dog whistle.”

She's right that he was interrupting too much, and the family thing was unseemly (on both sides). But Hunter Biden's corruption was the impetus for Trump's Ukraine investigation, which led directly to the impeachment in January. It's not "out of bounds", it's the most politicized a politician's child has been in recent memory, and it deserves some examination.

As for a response: Trump has always been that way. It just looked better when he was doing it to people everybody hated, like Hillary Clinton, who could also hold her own better than Biden.

Tell her to look at the things Trump does, not says. She isn't going to get a better speaker in Biden, or a nicer person in Harris. But with Trump, at least she gets fewer wars, more peace deals, more trade deals, and someone who takes riots seriously.
I said it in the debate thread and I'll say it again. Biden for the entirety of his campaign has been peddling an easily disprovable race hoax intended to paint Trump and everyone who supports him as racist neo nazis, the quiet part of that accusation being that we deserve to be the victims of violence. As long as Biden is running with something so insanely untrue and destructive, absolutely fucking nothing is off the table. I don't care what Trump uses to attack Biden. There's no ambiguity about which is worse.

This is how you know Biden lost the debate: When TDS overtakes all conversation about it, rather than reading/hearing statements such as "Biden's performance in the debate tonight brought hope back to America!"

The left is in full-on panic mode after tonight.

Its simpler than that.

If Trump lost that debate handily, Biden and his media shills would ask for MORE or no change to the debates because Trump can't stop hanging himself with his own rope and killing his own chances at reelection. Since they are begging for Biden to not debate, there is an outcome that they didn't like from the debate that is hurting Biden's chances at election.

Simple as.

One of my big disappointments this debate was that Trump didn't take him to task about the 'very fine people' hoax. He could've made it explicitly clear that he condemned white supremacists right before he said that and the fake news removed the context entirely, Biden is one to call him a liar when he claims he started his whole campaign off of a soundbite that's an easily disproven lie. And then condemned white supremacists but then say it's also just an ideology, not an organized group as a middle finger to Biden saying that about Antifa.

The Proud Boys hysteria has started.

So, are all of these leftists going act as if the Proud Boys have been causing terror and violence over the summer, and try to make the norms fall for it?

I re-watched the debate clip, and noticed something. Wallace pushes for the condemnation of white supremacy, Trump says "sure", and then Wallace keeps pushing him to actually do it. At this point, Biden turns to look at Trump, something he's been avoiding all night in favor of staring straight ahead.

When Trump says "give me a name" to condemn specifically, it was actually Biden who suggested the Proud Boys. So Trump fires off "Proud Boys, stand back and stand by, but I'll tell you what, somebody has to do something about Antifa!"

And Biden breaks into the biggest smile of the night.

I think this was a setup. Biden was prepared for this, he specifically wanted to get a PB condemnation out of Trump tonight. When he got it, he got the "mission accomplished" attitude and let Wallace roll with the rest. Trump took the bait, and that "non-condemnation" is all the talking heads are focusing on. Now the PB themselves seem to be taking the bait as well.

I don't know what the end game is, but this was clearly a goal of Biden's performance tonight. He wasn't going for canned zingers like a normal debate prep. He was going for traps, and this one snagged its target.

Well the U.S. Presidential debates are here and we're roughly one month away from the elections then.

So what did I thought of the first debate? It was a complete shitshow, the whole thing was a total clusterfuck to watch anyway and I can't imagine how the rest of the debates will go then.

If this is how things are going to be for the upcoming month then we got a bumpy ride ahead of us now.

So grab a bucket of popcorn and a drink because this is going to be a dumpster fire to remember then.

I didn't see the debate cause it was on during the night here but from what I've read I'm guessing Biden needed to hit a home run and bunted. Meanwhile on thedonald they're celebrating.

What I'm gathering from reactions and highlights:
Biden was his usually addled alzheimer's self but managed to avoid doing anything overtly and catastrophically cringe worthy.
Trump decided that the moderator was the more worthy opponent and focused on him instead. He gave the media exactly one sound bite to try to run into the ground.

Or in other words:
Both of them won, everyone else lost.

I think it's an overall wash for Trump and a net loss for Biden. He needed to do more than just not disintegrate on stage and he barely managed more than that. Trump missed a lot of opportunities and flubbed that line about the Proud Boys but I don't think he lost much in the end while Biden started out strong but had to shit on his already demoralized progressive voters and got more lost and confused as the night went on until Wallace was basically having to debate for him.

All you have to see is the 66% approval for Trump in the Telemundo poll to know why the Dems are frightened. Their captive minorities don't much care for an elderly white guy who doesn't act tough. Caudillo Trump plays better.

I don't support Trump even though I want him to win and it's because of divisive crap like this. I would also say for a guy who pals about with Youtube heavyweights like Markiplier and Jacksepticeye but only has a fraction of their subs he doesn't have any room to alienate anyone.

Biden made that smug, dismissive smile many times throughout the debate. I think you might be reading too much into it. Maybe you're right! But I think it was just him being dismissive.

Biden is legit not very smart, so maybe it was an actual case of dupers delight. Wallace was such a prick, who knows.

Check the Proud Boys Wikipedia page: they have already made that the official line. The media everywhere goes along with. Even my local media plays up what evil white supremacists the Proud Boys are, and how they are instigating violence at peaceful rallies. To find honest reporting on their presences at these events is probably quite rare.
