Details: The debate will be 90 minutes long and have no commercial breaks. There will be no opening statements, and instead Wallace will dive right in with the first question to Trump. It will be divided into six 15-minute segments that Wallace has chosen. They are:
1) The Trump and Biden records;
2) The Supreme Court;
3) Covid-19;
4) the economy;
5) race and violence in cities;
6) the integrity of the election.

After the debates a poll will be posted on who you think won this first debate. Have lots of fun, keep the commentary fresh as I'm sure we've all heard many of the same lines for months and enjoy the beginning of the end of this presidential election cycle. Just as a reminder, on October 7th there will be a Vice Presidential debate between Kamala Harris and Mike Pence at the University of Utah in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Stupid little me didn't even know the debate was going on last night and went to bed early, yet funnily enough I had a dream I was watching the debate and Joe kept on making these weird, fucked up faces.

Tell me kiwis, how much of a trashfire was it? Did Joe humiliate himself?

The media is there to make money and push billionaires preferred opinions. It is in no way against the spirit of the first amendment to criticize media. Who's keeping them accountable? You think they can't be wrong?
Also, they literally are the enemy of the people.

Why are you so eager to revoke constitutional protections, bootlicker? When the pendulum swings the other way and we need the media to obstruct an executive on the Left, you're going to be crying really hard that they're no longer free to do so because retarded, illiterate, uneducated sunken heads like you allowed your feelings to decide how much liberty there should be.

All Trump has to do when Biden kept saying "Show us your tax returns" was just deadpan "Show us your son's".

Biden seemed to be losing steam the last 30 minutes. Be surprised if he keeps doing these.

His son isn't running for public office.

Well, he didn't have a stroke on stage, or threaten to beat Trump behind the wood shed, or talk to an invisible man next to him, or any of his other classic Bidens.

He also didn't say anything. Just laughed and insulted trump. The few times he tried to engage on an issue he imploded spectacularly, if Wallace didn't pull his nuts out of the grinder.

Remind me again which news outlet has been shut down.

Remind me again which reporter has been jailed.

Remind me again which office has been raided.

Criticism is not suppression.

Biden is a fucking pussy. Trump lied when he said that Biden called black people “super predators” in the 90s - that was Hillary. And Biden just took it and didn’t correct him.

Maybe he’s so far gone he thought he actually did say it.

I'm still 8 pages behind so sorry if it's been said already. I think this is another one of Trump's tactics where he gives slightly incorrect info to get the fact checkers to point out something just as bad or worse. Like when he gave the rape statistics for illegal immigrants that were a little low and the media tripped over themselves to call him wrong, but in doing so they published the actual percentage which was worse.

Joe Biden in a 1993 speech warned of "predators on our streets" who were "beyond the pale" and said they must be cordoned off from the rest of society because the justice system did not know how to rehabilitate them.
https://www.cnn.com/2019/03/07/politics/biden-1993-speech-predators/index.html (https://archive.vn/9ldKo)

People take the bait everytime. This move also brings up the fact that Hillary called them super predators. It's a win-win for Trump.

First, a Twitter account is not your property.
It literally is. That's why people can sue YOU over the things you post.
That's also why companies sue former employees over account passwords.

Second, Twitter is an open platform that the executive of a nation has chosen to participate in, where any user has a open line to another user.
Tell all the people who have been permanently banned and have IP block that it's an open platform.

A private citizen is free to block anyone they choose, but the federal government can't selectively choose to hear some subjects and ignore others. He's free to quit the platform if he doesn't want to preserve our right to petition.
When does a private citizen become the entire Federal government?
I do love how you ignore the fact that the government actually does own and operate a POTUS account where you can "petition".

He doesn't have to read them. He simply has to allow them to be communicated.

By your absolutely braindead logic, the country wasn't founded on the ideal that we should be allowed to own handguns or automatic weapons. It's the fundamental values that are important here. They form the structure of our society, and our society evolves according to that structure.
He can't stop them from being communicated, all you have to do is @ him.
You can even reply to people who are replying to him.

But keep them goalposts on wheels, 'it's against the law!' -'but it's not doe'-'But it's against the spirit of the law!'.

He's eroding liberty at a slightly slower pace than the Left has. Well, he's totally vindicated, I guess.

It's not a violation of the first amendment, but it's against the spirit of the first amendment, you retard. The media is there to keep the state establishment accountable, and the executive is working to blanket discredit the press in the eyes of the people. This is as much against the spirit of liberty as the executive denouncing a particular religion.
Yes, the media there is to keep the state accountable.

So what are we supposed to do if they're working with parts of the state to prevent a demonstrably false reality that favors those aspects of the state? Is the president allowed to let them lie about him, even when these lies are clearly intentional and have long lasting effects?

The spirit of the First Amendment is that you're supposed to be able to tell the truth without men in suits showing up to stop you. It doesn't mean you can say your neighbor is a pedophile with no evidence, claim it was an error a week later, then do the same thing with every other person in your community. There has to be at least a slight effort towards telling the truth or it's not the press anymore, it's propaganda.

I think that the CRT points can be summed up pretty quickly and succinctly for normies and I hope Trump has something better for next time.

Like:
"This Critical Race Theory training is crazy, it teaches people to hate and fear others on the basis of race. That is anti-American to the core, because we here in the USA judge by action and character, not by race! This kind of training, this racial division, is poisoning minds young and old."

That's just me, I'm sure his team could put together something more effective. He just needs to hook onto that 'CRT teaches people to be racist' point that normies would find repulsive.

There were a few points like that. He brought voter fraud front and center but did not communicate it concisely. He is usually pretty good at that kind of thing.

It's against the spirit of the spirit of the law if nothing else
It's literally not according to SCOTUS.

"Nothing in the First Amendment or in this Court’s case law interpreting it suggests that the rights to speak, associate, and petition require government policymakers to listen or respond to individuals communications on public issues.”

Minn. Bd. Commun. for Colleges v. Knight

Which constitutional protections is anyone revoking? None? Oh, so you're full of shit.

Hunter matters because Joe Biden, his father and presidential candidate, used his official position of vice president to get countries to make really sweet deals for his son. Then corruptly blocked investigations into the corrupt companies his son was getting shitloads of money from.

The debate was just two boomers arguing and it won me over on neither side. Jesus Christ, you had your chance and you blew it.

Also the fact he pulled another Charlottesville by vaguely mentioning white supremacy instead of directly denouncing it, JESUS FUCKING CHRIST TRUMP. JUST DENOUNCE IT. That shit was fucking dumb.
