The moment anybody in Ralph's orbit stops contributing to the maintenance of his delusions they go from always loved, 100% perfectly perfect and respected to always a loser, always wrong about everything (even the things they previously agreed on for years), no good degenerate hanging from his balls.
He only includes people in his life if his entire confabulated world view is not threatened by their inclusion. Disillusion is hell of a drug and he wants none of it. We have yet to see him not treat his most beloved people as disposable utility. I don't think Jim is exception. This 10/10 may not be enough, or Gaytor will prevent it, but if Jim says anything more i am 100% sure he'll make a U turn on him as well and be as nasty and degenerate as possible.
Also, i am convinced that this is causing Gaytor to loose sleep, I believe in his nightmares Ralph is starting shit with Jim. It's been like that since the pillstream. During Flamenco part of the pillstream when Ralph was asking "Is Jim in the chat?" the tone of Gaytor's voice telling him "Jim is more inclined to just listen" translated into common language goes something like "Oh God, please stay away from jim, do not start shit with Jim" You can hear the fear in Gaytor's voice as he gently put Ralph down. I am convinced that Gaytor literally shat his pants over the possibility that Ralph could have brought Jim on that time, misinterpret something he says in a drunken pilled out of his mind stupor and start a fight. I think Gaytor knows it's coming, he might talk some sense into Ralph once or twice but inevitably it is coming.
