DLive supposedly inflates the numbers of their bigger streams to make it seem like there's more people watching for whatever reason. This was noticed when PPP was streaming on DLive and getting hundreds more viewers than his average Youtube stream was getting. It was also discovered that opening another tab would count as another viewer although that was patched about 1-2 days after it was found.

Overall, DLive is a shitty Chinese crypto farming website so it isn't a stretch to say there's suspicious shit going on behind the scenes.

So the argument amounts to "this website is suspicious" because PPP gained more viewers than average on his streams?
I've heard about the tab thing as well, I'd like to know more about that too. If that were true, surely Ralph would have a lot more than 1000 viewers max with ease, no?

DLive was suspicious since Day 1 since it would seriously slow down your computer any time you went on because it was farming crypto off you. This was part of why Ralph jumped over to stream.me after initially streaming on DLive a couple times after his Youtube ban. He shit all over them before crawling back after he annihilated stream.me.

Also as I said in my post, they fixed the tab exploit.

I can agree that there may have been some things suspicious about some aspects about Dlive, and those may persist to this day. But what about the viewer bot thing? Where did this come from and why? That's what I'd like to know.

I've also seen a lot of posts in this thread that come across as pure cope to me, posts made as Ralph is starting his show at a lower 300-400 viewer count which continues to grow into a consistent 600-900 average depending on whether he has guests people want to see on or not.

I think another reason behind the bot thing is that for some weeks his views slumbered around 5-600 only to pick up later on and settle around 700-710, the increase was also somewhat sudden. He also apparently knew the right people at Dlive so that adds just more fuel to this schizo train

I hate to defend Dlive, but there is no evidence that they were farming crypto in your browser. It was just a poorly coded site.

I think it mostly comes from Xander (Dispatch). He claimed that when his Bitwave users raided Dlive, they saw a 1:3 increase in viewers. Meaning, he claims for every 1 actual viewer, Dlive was showing 3. I don't think that's correct. He also claims/claimed that every tab open was a new viewer. I have tested this myself and not observed it. It's somewhat hard to track because Dlive doesn't update viewer numbers that quickly. It's only every couple of minutes.

When were these weeks? Were they documented? Were they measured against a decrease compared to weeks prior? An increase of 200-210 views is not inconceivable when you consider which guest he has on when.
