These people disgust me. Don't they have the least bit of tact cause if Trump doesn't die and recovers, they are literally setting themselves up to be an example of how bad the left are.

Again, I'm not 100% worried about the campaigning aspect. His kids and relatives and insanely dedicated ground game are doing the massive heavy lifting. Maybe the rallies are successful to see that the Orange man isn't that bad. Who knows.
Meanwhile, Trump and the family are going all out. That MN rally last night drew in 300k viewers online. Eric Trump is in Wisconsin, getting it ready for Big Don to 2 time rally in it soon. Jr is in Nevada, trying to rile up the northern rural parts to offset some of Las Vegas. Ivanka is in Orlando, FL, trying to win over Democrats. Same thing for Lara in Jacksonville, FL and NC. They are fucking everywhere and pulling big ass crowds to boot. And they are doing this EVERY week with an even more enthusiastic ground game holding rallies like WalkAway and Scott Pressler.
What I am interested in is how the public perceives it. That is the most important question.

All of these crazy happenings make me think of when /pol/ was worshipping chaos gods for laughs before the 2016 election. Though if the final outcome of the wild fucking ride 2020 has been is President Harris I want a god damn refund

Not gonna lie, that shit is fucking creepy as hell
Nothing to be creeped out by, translated from twitterite that just says "fuck you mom and dad FUCK YOU MOM AND DAD"

Well we know that the TDS types are prematurely gravedancing, it depends on how the rest of America is. We also need to see how Trump will address the nation.

Not to cause any panic, or say that I believe in any of shit, but I did look up @CrippleThreat's mention of presidents dying every X5 years, and I did find this.

The Curse of Tippecanoe, also known as Tecumseh's Curse, or the Presidential 20-Year Death Curse.

Tl;dr- With two exceptions, since 1840, every president that was elected in, or was still president at the time, has died in office in years that are divisible by 20. The curse, or rather pattern, was thought to be broken when Ronald Reagan survived his assassination attempt, and was later even further broken by George W. Bush when he survived his.

Now let's see if Trump can do the same.

The public has to perceive this terribly. COVID rises back up as the breaking topic and Biden wins by default now even if he gets it and dies. Sucks, but the election is over.
What are you talking about?

If played right, this can rally America under Trump or declare the virus as nothing serious. You will never get the TDS vote. That is cronic with a 100% death rate, unlike this virus.

He can pitch this in multiple ways. Anytime Biden says anything about COVID, he could say "Well, I had it. No big deal. Sad!" Just the first thing to come to mind.

Also, Trump and Biden were tested at the debate. Trump either got it after or got false positive'd. Doubt it though because that would be a monumentous medical fuckup for the president to be false positive'd.

The way I see it, public perception could go a few ways:

IF Trump passes through this healthily, then the Coronavoters will, consciously or not, begin dismissing Covid as their primary talking point. Whether anyone likes it or not, Trump shrugging off the virus we’ve been told by everyone but Trump is the WORLD DOOMSDAY ULTIMATE THREAT would make him seem vindicated and leave the histrionics discredited. It’ll also have the benefit of communicating Trump’s strong health and good fear management.

IF Trump has serious complications, he might get a pity vote from the undecided or moderates who still recognize decency is the way to respect a weakened leader. Likely, though, this does the opposite of the first hypothetical and throws a pie on Trump’s face. Instantly, Biden will be perceived to be the worthwhile candidate for panicking over a virus that nearly killed the President! See, all his social distancing was the smart move after all.

IF Trump dies... hold on to your butts.

Oh! What I actually meant was that US presidents whose number end in 5 (05 - Monroe, 15 - Buchanan, 25 - McKinley, 35 - Kennedy, 45 - Trump) have met a grim end since McKinley (he and JFK were both assassinated). And now Trump to fight the "invisible enemy." X was meant to be a variable for 0-4, or specifically, 2 and 3.

Still, nice info. I recall hearing about Tippecanoe.

Interesting. So he's basically got two curses going up against him? Well, if there any person to beat two at the same time, it's him.

Now let's see if he can actually do it.

Well obviously the curse just doesn't work on actors and lizard people.

This is how the elites, the mainstream media, and SJWs view us. All of those horrifying bots tweets that are flooding the thread reflect what they want to do to anyone who dare oppose them. Suppress, weaken, and then kill, preferably in the most humiliating fashion.
It's a base turnout election. I can't imagine a scenario in which the electoral fallout could be less.
Trump's base will turn out for him, but it's already at the max. The problem is that this could be the issue that negatively energize the TDS crowd into showing up for Biden and a lot of these people will vote just based on fear.

The only way he recovers from this is if this turns out to be asymptomatic or he gets better in a couple of weeks and can sell the narrative that he had it and COVID-19 isn't that bad. Also getting in ACB would help make up lost ground. Which can certainly happen, but we better hope it does.

It gets far worse than this. I'm not going back to that thread to dig through tweets that border on rule violation that Twitter won't address.

Again, this is a base turnout election. The plan was already to concede the swing vote.

How would a dead/sick Trump energize the TDS afflicted? A dead/sick Trump is precisely already what they want.
