It was intentional. I mean seriously, look at this timing. Look at all the alternatives, be it catching it earlier, catching it later, or not catching it at all. This has got to seriously be the best possible case for Trump. Outside of the 7% chance of the disease actually killing him (Which is likely much lower due to frequent testing, quality of medical care, and lack of conditions.), and outside of the similarly sized chance of it being serious, look at the end result: He comes back healthy, storms the campaign trail in the last couple weeks, has the cred of having survived it, taking that question off the table, and everyone outside of the mask-cult will appreciate him all the more for his perspective of it. (And seriously, I think the "go-back-to-old-normal" voting bloc is potentially far larger and more passionate than anyone thinks. Like legitimately Biden may lose purely based on his pro-lockdown pro-mask policies. The silent majority by far believes that Covid should be treated like a flu. Which is to say the federal government should do nothing just like they do for the flu, the state government should do nothing just like they do for the flu, and employers and businesses should do nothing just like they do for the flu.)

So yeah, I'm not saying he intentionally infected himself.... but if he did, it was a good move, so I'm saying its has the makings of a fun pet conspiracy theory.

Big deal, I am surprised in the aspect that Trump didn't end up getting the coof sooner. With all of the travelling the man does and God knows how many people he is in contact with daily. Aside from his weight, his lifestyle choices are actually pretty mild compared to a lot of people his age. Firstly, he's hardly sedentary. Secondly, he doesn't drink or smoke. Thirdly, there's no health diagnosis/comorbidity that we know of to bring a considerable concern at this point in time.

Keep in mind a ton of the seniors who have died from the coof were already (unfortunately) knocking on death's door in a nursing home.

And while I'm not sure to really consider it "tinfoil" but the man is the President of the United States and has access to heathcare that is second-to-none. Being 70+ in age is really the only obvious disadvantage I can think of now that he's infected with COVID. Hence why he's going to be fine. I also have this feeling that there are going to be a lot of bullshit questions to Pence about Trump's "disregard" of Covid-19 regulations, whether he should even be running for president, and whether Pence is ready to take up the mantle if necessary.
