This sure is amazing """"""""""""luck""""""""". Now timid and inept Biden has a free out for any debate and can say SEE, WE WARNED HIM, BUT HE DIDN'T LISTEN.

I've known people who've tested positive and shown no symptoms. I bet everything the same will happen here. Just watch. Call it a gut instinct.

The only people I know directly who've had confirmed Covid thought it was a bad cold and made a full recovery in a couple of weeks. Trump seems to have good luck and be very hearty, plus he has the best medical attention you can get, so I'm going to be surprisedpikachuface if he actually gets desperately ill or dies from this. He's probably most at risk by being under constant stress for four years, though.

Let the Twitter mob prematurely celebrate tonight, the same way they did for his "IMMENIENT IMPEACHMENT"; it's always the most fun to watch spoiled dumb little children have to eat their words later on. :story:

Political stunt. A week from now Trump is going to go on every network he can and say covid-19 was absolutely nothing and he was right all along. I can see it now...

"I got covid-19 and I didn't even get sick. Not even one sneeze. We need to re-open our country. Coronavirus is nothing. I feel tremendous".

Jair Bolsonaro tested positive for it, and helped him politically when his other (COVID say) metrics were poor. It certainly helped bungling Boris Johnson. BoJo suffering with his people. Same with POTUS I think.

Mitt Romney was the quintessential boy scout too and Obama wiped the floor with him.
Yes, I know there were a bunch of other factors but it's something to keep in mind. Don't underestimate the effectiveness of potential DNC smears, especially as Pence is part of the older guard GOP that isn't exactly known for punching back.

Let's be real;
- Biden is no Obama. Obama could at least pitch you his politics and emote bravado. Biden looks frail and mentally defeated, and he couldn't explain his home address if Jill promised him one last blowjob.
- Obama had the black vote in the bag.

Perhaps I'm remembering wrong, but Romney was a jobber candidate much like Kelly was 8 years before him. Dubya and Obeezy were still running on the enthusiasm of their war effort/I'm-rhe-first-Black-president-nigga! That counted significantly even if it wore off greatly 100 days into their second terms.

I know the DNC media machine is mighty, but it's also wounded currently. While purely anecdotal, a lot normies in my gym raised their eyebrows when MSM were attacking ACB for being Catholic and having 2 adopted kids in disbelief. The MSM are getting desperate and starting to make stupid plays thinking actual America is Twitter. I just don't think they can muster up a Pence smear campaign in less than month (assuming Trump takes 2-3 weeks to die, hopefully not, but, let's remember it's a possibility) without resorting to some elite clown world-tier accusations that would turn normies away and fracture their trust. I'd like to believe the MSM would rather lose the battle than lose their mask and credibility, the Orange man can't be worth potentially losing your network by alienating the apolitical majority.

I'm putting the over/under on "days until the media starts putting out opinion pieces accusing Trump of faking it" at 5. Is anyone taking the under?

Edit:
Clarifications
-Today being Day 1.
-Must be in a publication or news website with an actual editorial process.

I suppose I'll just edit the takers in to the post, why the fuck not track it for fun.

Oh fuck... Now everything is going to be about Trump's covid for weeks, no more entertaining content available, Trump had the coof and I will be told that by all websites and all people I care to listen to.

I hate Trump's ability to make everything be about him all the time.

It just occurred to me that if (and likely when) Trump pulls through this we're going to see a deluge of "I am growing stronger" memes returning. It's going to be great and it'll cause a new salt tsunami.

Agreed. Twitter has a habit of counting their chickens early. Happened with Bolsonaro and Johnson.
At least RGB was being cold and being evaluated by St Peter.

I already brought this up in the election, but I'm just gonna post it again here, because I think it's very interesting.

Again, this is not to cause panic, or to say I actually believe in it. I just think it's fascinating, and could possibly raise the stakes even more.

There's something called The Curse of Tippecanoe. It's also known as Tecumseh's Curse, or the Presidential 20-Year Death Curse.

To put it simply, with two exceptions, ever since 1840, every president that was elected in, or was still president at the time, has died in office in years that are divisible by 20.

Whatever you wish to call it, a curse, or just a pattern, it was thought to be broken when Ronald Reagan survived his assassination attempt. It was then later thought to be broken even further by George W. Bush when he survived his.

However, there is yet another curse, or rather, death pattern, found in the United States Presidents.

It much less know, but it is rather interesting, and if true, makes things even more precarious for Trump. It doesn't seem to have an official name, but to keep it simple, every president who's number ends in 5 (15, 25, 35) has met a tragic end.

Monroe (5) died in financial ruin, Buchanan (15) was considered a traitor by many in the nation, and died in misery, McKinley (25) was assassinated, Kennedy (35) was also assassinated.

Something else to note is that McKinley, and Kennedy were both also supposed victims of The Curse of Tippecanoe.

Trump's the 45th.

But he's also one of the luckiest motherfuckers in existence.

If there's one guy to spit in the face of fate, and defy not one, but two curses, it's him.

Now let's see if he can actually do it.

Is it really his doing, or the opposition who just can not shut up about every little thing he does?

Good for him. The same people crying that "ppl are being mean 2 Trump!!" would definitely be splitting their sides if Biden got COVID and are secretly hoping that he keels over soon, ideally on live TV. Which, in fairness, would be hilarious as fuck and I hope to be there to witness it. I just find this round of pearl-clutching pathetic, especially from a group that mocks libs for doing the same thing.

Meh, superstitious nonsense. Humans love to look for patterns and apply meaning when there is none.
Really stretching with the first two as well: "died in ruins" vs when in office. I'm sure "died in ruins" could be applied to more than quite a few people.

I give it less than a day before we start seeing small fry journalists pumping out clickbait.

That would make 9 years divisible by 20 since 1840 right? I don’t think 6/7 have died in office have they? Also how many presidents not ending in 5 have died in bad circumstances? Humans like finding patterns. Doesn’t mean they are correct.
