I've always taken it as a good sign that Trump has maintained his middle age ponch well into seniority. It's one of the biggest indicators of his health. Unhealthy old people don't stay chubby, they lose weight rapidly and it's one of the biggest tells of decline.

Scenario 2 could actually energize voters, too. Most people aren't psychopaths, and seeing the POTUS struggle hard to make it through is a heartstring tugger. I don't really like Trump. I think he's a fun meme but he does annoy me sometimes. I didn't vote for him the first time around (didn't vote for Hillary either). But I was willing to give him the benefit of the doubt in 2016, and I've watched time and time again every single step he took being mischaracterized and taken to mean the end of the world, the people around him being attacked, and just an insane amount of unfairness and unpleasantness thrown his way. I may not like the man, but I hate that sort of cliqueish high-school bullying behavior his detractors proudly display even more.

So I end up defending Trump when he's being treated unfairly. Because if you're going to tear a man down, at least tear him down for what he's done, not what you wish he had done.

He didn't have the time. If he started any sentence longer than 5 words Wallace or Biden would interrupt him. That's happened multiple times through the debate.
