I think the reason why Wojak has lasted as long as it did is because it's a very malleable and versatile meme. It's simple enough that there's always some kind of new variant.

Soyjak was funny at first but it's quickly worn out its welcome and has become short hand for the "liking things is for spergs" mentality at this point.

Chudjak is an even less funny ripoff of Soyjak but he's not quite as repulsive on the eyes as the bearded widemouth. Still, it's one of those lefty cargo cult attempts at memes.

Like, I don't even get what they're aiming for with Chudjak. He looks like a slightly stocky and fit Frank Grimes as opposed to the typical incel strawman. You'd think they'd just slap a fedora on Soyjak and call it a day.

Again, Wojak is probably one of the longest lasting memes in the Web 2.0 era because it's so easy to exploit and make new variants of.

I there's nothing to dissect, is just a total lack of creativity, there's no complexity whatsoever into wojak. Memes are just the same templates forever, just like reddit ones. Reddit is still using the same drake templates from years ago too, the 4 chan version is the virgin vs Chad one. Or the " yes" one or literally anything from there. Is reddit as fuck.

I just cannot stand meme culture at all. It is ragecomic reddit humour from 2009 all over again, people with no talent or humour that cannot come up with something original so they take a template and rearrange the words. It isn't remotely funny and never has been. This is why i only use textboards with so few users you can tell who is who just by the writing style.

It was a self-depreciating image from Kohlchan (kohlface). I don't think it was actually a Wojak variant to start with, but /pol/ makes everything less funny once they get their hands on it, even stuff that wasn't funny to begin with.

And this is why you don't wear meme shirts in reality. There is nothing cringier than a dead meme and if you have one of those pictures taken of you, some day that will be a dead meme and that's probably not very long, and that picture will be like the '70s pictures of some boomer in bell bottoms except instead of being cringy 30 years later it'll be cringy like 30 minutes later.
