So that California bill just creates a task force to study it. The conclusion is going to be clear: hey retards, the forests are on fire and we can't keep the lights on. Why are you spending on shit like this? Just kidding! It's going to be TAX BUSINESS TO PAY FOR IT

California is already in extraordinary debt and has high amounts of debt held by individuals - when you consider that the debt held by a lot of the homeless is probably close-enough to 0, it makes you think about how high the debt of people who -aren't- homeless have to be to prop it up. People with high debt despise taxes even more than your average sort, so the only possible way for Cali to raise this money - given that they're too useless to peel anything back - would be to... tax businesses more. Businesses which are largely leaving and already hemorrhaging the state's budget. While paying to fix shit that these riots broke - incentivizing breaking shit to get payouts.

Really, it seems to me that the state is caught in the grips of an administration whose MO is Thanatos.

People get killed every fucking day but if it was a black person it's all of a sudden racism. Several hundred black people are murdered every year in cities like Chicago, but gang violence isn't a major national issue.
One unarmed black person dies while being arrested in a year, suddenly the entire system is corrupt, genocidal to blacks, and needs torn down and rebuilt.

Hey, Fren, you won't find any disagreement from me there. If the families of these people had any sense they would use the money they get to pay off mortgages, clear debts and set up college funds, take out really good health and life insurance too. I know that's what I would do.

What I will say though, is this: As anyone who has ever claimed death insurance for a relative will tell you, the money is immaterial. You would do anything to get the deceased back and no amount of money can ever, ever compensate you for that loss. To me, it's vulgar as all heck these people are getting $$ lobbed at them, like 1. It'll bring them back 2. Make it all better and 3. They're not all on gibsfolife anyhows.

Many of hem don't even bother with the LARP. A Toronto lesbian Anglican preiest (who hold antifa "escalation trainings" at her parish) is an avowed athiest. Google Maggie Helwig. The diocese has been contacted numerous times about her and will do nothing to sanction her.

It seems like they don't actually care that there gone they just say a couple good things that the deceased did then they cry to make every feel bad and make a GoFundMe and they warp the story to make it seem like all police are bad and people like this are worse than a cop killing someone for no reason they twist the story so people feel bad then they make money and not just the family for instance when Breanna Taylor died bc she was with drug dealers people made shirts of her charging 40-80$ people like this just use someone's death to make money they don't care about 5he actuall person just the money they can make

You just reminded me of an old article in my local newspaper covering homelessness. The mayor had this fucked up idea that he'd completely eliminate homelessness in our city despite being consistently voted in the top ten worst states in the US. Any attempt at creating a reasonable dialogue or debate inevitably resulted in some collage-edumacated white slop hog (mostly the CEO of the local YWCA) yelling about "REEE NO ONE CHOOOOSES TO BE HOMELESS!!"

No plans for "Let's get clean and stop publicly masturbating and peeing my pants inside the IGA" No... Just... GANK property from someone (or multiple someones) and just gift the bums with fully furnished apartments because...reasons?

Yes, there ARE people who don't choose to be homeless, but guess what? They are NEVER homeless for long at all. A month tops. Wanna know the seekrit? They aren't degenerate bums looking for a handout. They have shame. They have pride. They have a sense of duty and obligation. They ask for handouts at the shelter or church, NOT the liquor store parking lot or bus station. They look for a job and TAKE it. They live to work so they can return to putting a financial cushion down and to place their children in private school so they aren't being indoctrinated with marxist trash.

So their daughters never end up being a fat white blond slop hog CEO of the YWCA who pens a weekly sausage finger wagging Op-Ed in the local paper about how the rest of US need to overcome racism while she wallows in her quarter million dollar McMansion on the border of the next county over.
