I think this is what I find so funny about DSP: He's been doing this for a living for 10 years and doesn't know what genres are, plays like shit, and generally has nothing to contribute that a literal 10-year-old couldn't add and at least the 10-year-old can do so without snorting.
This is why you have no fans DSP, not because of trolls, because you're a talentless hack.

Brilliantly put. To go further, the interaction between stream chet and DSP is like the interaction between an older relative babysitting his dumb 10-year-old relative and to shut him up he just puts him in front of a TV screen and hands him a controller. But once the console is booted up the older relative sees that he has no games that could reasonably be comprehended by your average 10-year-old, so he just boots up a random one and then just backseat games constantly.

I'd be interested in seeing the numbers on this. How much did he get from meeting sub goal, patreon votes, and then daily tips considering most of the playthrough was during the height of the vest streak.
It'd be interesting to see that, but truth is, it doesn't matter to Phil.
Phil's brain is like that of a baby, he doesn't have Object Permanence. Except that it's specifically in relation to money that he lacks this capability. If he's not seeing money right now, then what he's doing is worthless, even though it may have made him thousands of dollars before.

he really is an absolute piece of shit, got payed to play a game, then takes months to beat the game because he plays it as little as possible because of his autistic schedule and need to buy a new game every week, all while complaining he’s not getting payed even more while he pays. I’ve never seen any other streamer act so greedy.
to use his restaurant example it’s like paying for a buffet, then the owner gets mad that people Aren’t paying everytime they go up for another plate of food

He won't be able to put it on the easiest difficulty, not unless he wants to contradict his retarded "this is the experience the game devs wanted" mantra that he spouts every time he plays a new game and chat wants him to play on a harder difficulty. Did you see what happened in the RE3 remake during the Clocktower boss fight? The same thing will happen here.

I'd be shawked if Phil picks this up anytime soon. Socialization is just too central a component of that game and we all know this sort of thing freezes the piss down his legs. At most maybe he'll try a very tightly controlled game with a few confirmed longterm whales after the fad has passed.
Unlike Phile, Poki at least has the balls to play Among Us now. It might be with friends granted but still. They do seem to have similar breast sizes though.

DSP just purposely made his playthrough extra boring by picking the "Modern" difficulty setting in Crash Bandicoot 4, which means he has an unlimited supply of lives, as opposed to the "Retro" option that makes you go game over if you run out of lives (like the original games used to be):
King of Retro.
Also, he died on literally the first enemy in the game:
-EDIT- He's now insulting people in chat who want him to play on Retro mode by calling them "whiny". Literally his whole chat wants him to play Retro mode.
He also got pissy already at a stream regular cheering about being sad about him not playing Retro mode. Didn't even read out the cheer.
Yep, this will be deemed a "detractor meme" and mentioning the Retro mode will be a bannable offense before this stream is over.
-EDIT- Because he has an unlimited amount of lives, he is now simply killing himself every time he misses even one Wumpa Fruit because he wants to 100% the game. Luckily he's bad at playing video games, and still misses Wumpa Fruits without noticing, so there's at least some salt to be had:
