You're right, and women have to deal with this kind of pickup "move" from socially awkward guys in person, in their DMs, whatever, all the time. Russ's initial actions are nothing exceptional. After 2 days of it I had to get rude to get rid of him and as a Canadian, that goes against every instinct. I hate people who inflict themselves on others who clearly have no desire to be their sexual partner, buddy or agony-arm and don't bother to check first.

You might be embarassed, angry, scared, terrified, feel unloved/unliked because maybe you start getting a pit of your stomach feeling that nobody will stand up for you or protect you.
And even when you get a day or two off, you start having intrusive thoughts and sometimes you have bad dreams as your mind scrambles to find an out or a solution to getting rid of the creep while avoiding a write up.

Not that it would do any good I guess, but there should be classes for greasy gourds that cover brutal honesty and empathy for women who don't want to be bothered by them. DV classes are sometimes court ordered, but I don't think they cover things like this.

I really think that employers need to understand the level of harassment female employees get, and adopt policies that prevent women from being punished or fired for standing up for themselves. Russ often tries to shame people (especially women) for standing up to him, look what he does when businesses refuse to hire him. He tried to get a female lawyer disbarred for having the audacity to not hire someone who harassed her and was massively unqualified. I think there's another reason he's so obsessed with prostitution. Russ absolutely strikes me as the type to get off on having power over hookers.
