Team Obama, activate!

Left-wing Hollywood stars are rallying around Barack Obama as evidence mounts that the former president was involved in the failed take down Gen. Michael Flynn as well as a larger clandestine effort to derail the Trump presidency. President Donald Trump has repeatedly tweeted about a massive “Obamagate” scandal, saying that Obama and Joe Biden led the “most corrupt administration in U.S. history.”

“It was OBAMAGATE, and he and Sleepy Joe led the charge. The most corrupt administration in U.S. history!” the president tweeted on Monday.

Over the weekend, leaked audio footage emerged of Obama slamming Trump. The former president claimed that the Justice Department’s decision to abandon its prosecution of Flynn means that the “basic understanding of rule of law is at risk.” He also slammed President Trump’s handling of the coronavirus pandemic.

Loyal left-wing Hollywood celebrities have begun circling the wagons around Obama, playing defense as the #Obamagate hashtag trended on Twitter on Monday. Prominent entertainment figures including Ava DuVernay, Barbra Streisand, Patricia Arquette, and Jeffrey Wright have leapt to the former president’s aid, eager to downplay the gravity of the brewing scandal.

Could this famous thing be upon us in the near future?

If the races were flipped this would be called a hate crime
Could still be.
I mean, can we be sure that outwards looking black gentlemen is not a white supremacist? He might have considered voting for Trump, so we shouldn't judge his race purely by the color of his skin.

Rick's wife, Anne, died of cancer at the age of 35. Despite being a successful actor, Rick retired to be a single parent to his children. Like stated already in this thread, he is truly a good person with good character. I'm sure the majority of Kiwis wish him the best of luck.
It's exactly because of that decision to raise his kids rather than pursue fame that I'm upsetty spaghetti over hearing about him getting attacked. Unironically couldn't have happened to a nicer guy.

Rick being a beloved actor I think is what's preventing people from laughing that an old white man got sucker-punched by a nigger. I hope he's doing okay.
That he was working on a Honey I Shrunk the Kids sequel where according to an interview he said he's taking direct inspiration for the story from losing his wife to cancer probably helps. This jogger didn't quite punch out a cancer patient, but he kind of came close by proxy.

And I agree, if it were some rando nobody knows about (regardless of how nice he was) certain people of certain political persuasions would be saying it's not a big deal and whatabouting George Floyd and Jacob Blake.
