Well with what I'm talking about, you don't really have a tac team on standby. It's just typically two cops in an unmarked unit monitoring the location to grab the dude and then executing the search warrant with units available in the area. Even for a search warrant, I'd much rather get the person just as they're exiting since you still get the benefit of directly linking them, but you also deny them any real ability to fight back or destroy any evidence. The big thing I think a lot of police departments don't realize is that the evidence isn't going anywhere on its own. So long as the suspect or any cohorts can't get to the evidence, you have literally all the time in the world to secure the evidence in most cases.

Additionally, having the suspects separate from the place you're searching can be played to your advantage. The whole thing of it is because they don't actually know what your search team is finding while they're detained, you can easily use that panic they're feeling to get them to start making up excuses for shit you haven't even found yet, which tells you what to look for.

E.g.
Cop: You know we're searching your apartment right now right?
Jogger: yo man I didn't do nothin
Cop: So we're not gonna find anything?
Jogger: dat be her sheit in there I dindu nothin

Just an exchange like that 100% confirms to the search team that there is something in that apartment because the suspect is already trying to lie his way out of the situation by blaming the other suspect.

They have a search warrant, not an arrest warrant. They can't detain you off-site while executing a search warrant.

Unless they have an arrest warrant or probable cause that you're currently committing a crime or just committed a crime (in some jurisdictions, a warrantless arrest requires a crime to be committed in view of a police officer as well), they can't touch you. See: Bailey v United States. Cops did that, and it fucked their entire case in the end (conviction overturned, remanded back to a lower court, and some of the evidence ruled as unconstitutionally obtained and thrown out).

They also can't detain you on scene and then wait for the rest of the search team to show up, and nowhere outside of maybe bumfuck Indiana (rural places with little LE presence) do they just have 2 cops go in to execute a search warrant. They bring in a whole team including evidence technicians. A handful of cops may secure the scene initially, but they can't detain even people that were present at the location for an "unreasonable" amount of time while waiting to execute the search (if they start the search immediately they can generally detain you for the duration if you were on scene, however. Isn't our legal system fun!).

Anyway, it doesn't work like you think it works.

Their choices come down to "execute search warrant when they're home and be able to detain them" or "execute search warrant when they're not home and do not detain them".

Most of the time they prefer A, since it's better to be able to tie people on scene to evidence (especially after Bailey, given some of the evidence that tied Bailey to what was found on scene got thrown out). Sometimes, particularly in situations they believe to be overly dangerous, if they think it's a stash house (no one actually living there), or if it's not feasible to wait for a time when you're home (for example, people that travel often) they'll choose B.

They also won't/can't wait for very long. Like I mentioned in the other post, search warrants have multiple time limits. If police don't know that you'll even leave the house, they're not going to just wait it out indefinitely for you to do so - they can't. Their warrant will expire.

Probably someone who was just released from prison and wearing donated clothes. Literally no one in NYC would willingly wear anything with "I heart NY" on it. This will probably be confirmed in the day or two it takes before this guy is caught.
It's genuinely hilarious to me watching all these goddamn mouthbreathers who are all "DEFUND THE POLICE!!! NEVER CALL THE POLICE ON BLACK PEOPLE!!!" losing their shit over this and calling for the man who assaulted Moranis to be arrested.

It's almost like they don't give a fuck about violent crime until it affects them, their families or one of their sacred cows. The hypocrisy is astounding. I'm honestly amazed they even published the footage or a still of the assailant.

I've seen several people saying the man hit Moranis because he was Jewish. Nonsense. He was assaulted because he was white and smaller in stature and older than his attacker. Whoever that creature is, he is a cowardly piece of shit and his Mother fucked up by not being one of the millions who went to PP to Tank Yank him.

Jesus. 23 mins in. They are the same everywhere.
Which ones? Corrupt Africans being corrupt was sort of expected. It's third world, that is gonna happen. It was how incompetent the Chinese were with their bureaucratic nonsense that was more lulzy for me.

The main gist is the company trying to get gravel from a supplier and the local corruption stymying it. Finally when they get one at the end by greasing palms they send out a broken truck because their idiot maintenance guy didn't fix it. So they just scab it together so they can report some kind of victory.

The whole operation is a massive shitshow. Everyone involved is absolutely terrible at their job. Especially the "it's all so tiresome" guy. He just bitches to people the whole movie. He doesn't actually fix anything in a meaningful way by getting involved. He doesn't lead. Peak desk jockey corporate bureaucrat.

Personally I don't need for the guy to be arrested. I would prefer for authorities to have to identify him from what is left after a group of Concerned Citizens corner him after hearing what he did to a beloved celebrity.

Thanks to the poor impulse control of the drug dealer's babymama who insisted on chewing him out on the prison phone, we know Jamarcus Glover was keeping both money (15k) and drugs at her place regularly. When she bitched that he should be keeping it with her instead of Breonna, Jamarcus explained how convenient it was to walk in any time and grab his stuff.

So detaining/arresting Breonna or her current boyfriend elsewhere wouldn't have stopped Jamarcus (or more likey one of his other mules/babymamas) from clearing the place out.

How is the chinaman supposed to discipline the pack of thieving apes when we're not allowed to whip them anymore?

Nothing is more satisfying than hearing this little faggots yell "MEDIC!!"
Especially when one considers Antifa's alleged medics are out of their element for anything other than a boo-boo that can be covered with a bandage.

aww looks like the gal who got hit broke a nail and acquired a fake limp.
Gotta play it up for the camera and milk it for what it's worth, right?

The worst part of this is that these trumped up claims of brutality will likely be forwarded to police for an internal affairs investigation -- an investigation that will likely determine brutality never happened and wastes time and resources better spent elsewhere. Worse, frivolous claims such as these only make it that much more difficult for victims of actual police misconduct to get the proper accountability and redress they deserve.

Too late! The goal has been reached so you can't donate anymore. What a bummer.
$20k for a broken nail and wounded pride is absolutely disgusting 🤢. That money could have gone to any sort of charity or cause that would make more of a meaningful difference than 100-plus days of violent protests have, but we instead get someone who profits from crocodile tears. :heart-empty:

These clowns are worse than divegrass players with the fake injuries.
NGL, I wish we could see the police running up to them and showing them a yellow card 🟡 right in their faces just as the soccer officials do for the most egregious instances of diving on the pitch.

One of the cops is wearing one of the squeaky piggies the rioters have been using to harass them.
Gotta love any cop who takes the usually-disparaging image of a pig (and the annoyance of a squeaky toy) and used it to show the protestors that they're not easily intimidated by their impotent words, name-calling, and actions.

I had a chance to catch up with Based Seattle Friend (BSF) and ask about the homeless program that's set to be discontinued as part of the vote to defund. From what BSF told me, activists have focused almost exclusively on the fact the police often round up or arrest the homeless as part of the program even though it was never the intent. BSF added, though, that the police only do that when it's necessary -- specifically when the social workers or other civilians that are part of the program arrive on the scene and witness the homeless either shooting up drugs or sexually assaulting someone.

In short, the decision to end this program is going to cause more problems than it solves because activists refuse to look at the larger picture and focus on the one aspect with which they take the most exception.

More footage of the antifa motorcycle incident. They were "dearresting" a comrade who had been pulled over for a citation, possibly a search of their vehicle.

Gee, I wonder why the first thing cops try to do when they arrive is secure the scene and get control over the situation, instead of engaging in legal debates with screeching bydstanders. It's a real mystery.

Fuck every single one of the idiots involved here, I hope the one who got run over catches a serious federal charge.

Portland official pens scathing rebuke to U.S. Constitution after Trump rally, warns against free speech and more

October 1, 2020 | Vivek Saxena | Print Article

A day before the Breonna Taylor decision last month, a top official in the far-left city of Portland, Oregon, published an op-ed for the city’s official website attacking the U.S. Constitution and its amendments because they’re allegedly bad for black people.
Markisha Smith, Ed.D., the director of Portland’s Orwellian Bureau of Equity and Human Rights, claimed that the “words of the Constitution are being used to allow hate speech, acts of violence, and seemingly harmless flags to fly.”

By “harmless flags,” she meant the pro-Trump flags that were “whipping and flying in the air” when a caravan of pro-Trump supporters cruised into Portland on Aug. 29th to display their support for Trump and push back on the city’s extremism.
During that event, one Trump supporter, Jay Danielson, lost his life after a left-wing extremist allegedly maliciously and purposefully executed him in cold blood.

Despite members of the left being the ones who committed a murder that day, the fact that the Trump supporters were allowed to drive into Portland and wave their Trump flags is problematic to Smith. And the solution, it seems, lies in gutting the Constitution.
“Leaders note that Freedom of Speech, as part of the First Amendment in the Bill of Rights of the Constitution is a right of Americans in this country,” her piece continues.

“Yet, this freedom of speech permits hate speech and symbols of hatred towards Black folx that are a threat to our physical, mental, and emotional safety. Several of the other Amendments represent a similar unsafety for Black folx in this country.”
Notice her use of the term “folx.” It’s a so-called “inclusive” term used by members of the left in the same manner that the widely disliked term “Latinx” is used to describe Latinos.

Smith continued her piece by complaining about other key amendments, including the Second Amendment, the Fourth Amendment, and the Tenth Amendment.

For instance, the Second Amendment is allegedly bad because “gun violence at the hands of law enforcement officials towards Black folx plays out on our news and social media feeds frequently” and because “white Americans have taken this constitutional right to mean policing their neighborhoods and shooting innocent Black people.”

She may have been referencing the Trayvon Martin case, in which a 17-year-old black teen was fatally shot by Hispanic man George Zimmerman during a 2012 altercation.

Zimmerman was patrolling his neighborhood when he spotted and tried to speak to Martin. In response, the 5’11 teen attacked and nearly killed him, causing Zimmerman to open fire in self-defense, as ruled by a court two years after the shooting.

State’s witness John Good says he saw Trayvon Martin on top, in a ground and pound position. Heard the person on the bottom scream for help.
— Ben Montgomery (@gangrey) June 28, 2013

After the shooting, Zimmerman was described as a “White Hispanic” …

But Smith may also have been referencing the likes of Mark and Patricia McCloskey, the white St. Louis couple who’ve been tarred and feathered by the institutional left for the non-crime “crime” of defending their home from left-wing extremists.

While Smith doesn’t specify what exactly she personally would like to see going forward, it should be noted that the publication of her piece coincides with a growing movement on the left that argues that the right to self-defense shouldn’t exist, whereas the “right” for criminals to loot, riot and hurt others should be respected …

Quite a few notable left-wing figures seem to feel this way

Smith concluded her piece by suggesting it’s time to “move bravely and boldly towards something different” from the U.S. Constitution because the Constitution and its principles have “resulted in violations against and the death of Black people in America.”

“Ask yourself these questions: Does this Constitution serve everyone in our country? And if not, why are we continuing to use it as a justification for racist, hate-filled acts of violence? Is this really democracy? Who is holding us accountable? The founding fathers are long gone—who has replaced them as the monitoring agent? And, does Black life matter enough to make us move bravely and boldly towards something different?” she wrote.

Portland’s Office of Equity shared the piece to Twitter Sept. 24th. As of Thursday, it boasted a growing ratio.

What is unbelievable is her injection of racism into the Constitution. Dr. Smith’s diatribe is proof that even educated people can become racial and ideological zealots. If she does not believe in equal protection under the law then she has no business being a pubic employee.

Whocares? Critical Race Theory is “academic” garbage. Equity poisons everything it lnfects.

Smith’s views do seem to share a similarity to the disturbing critical race theory propaganda that President Donald Trump has banned from the federal government.

I'd say this lady wants Portland to be the capital of the progressive utopia that they want to replace the US. That or Portland the be the capital of the separatist state of Cascadia.
