He seemed to imply the lockdowns in March were good and pointed to China’s containment of it.

I didn’t have the heart to tell him that forcibly dragging people to quarantined areas including metal boxes on trucks might not have been the “best” way to handle it.

You know, that's why I'm worried about Trump. That dude himself is pretty darn smug and him getting sick could be seen as a karmic backlash for how non-seriously he has been taking the virus. Fingers crossed he makes it through this fine. Maybe a little roughed up to knock some sense into him if that's the goal, but otherwise fine.

Boris Johnson was admitted about a week after being tested positive and didn't get back to work until about three weeks later. He was still obviously struggling when speaking in public for weeks after that.

Even if Trump survives, it's fucked his campaign unless it can generate a sympathy vote, but I'm not sure if Trump's style will garner much sympathy among those not already firmly in his camp.

I'm seeing the same bullshit on my FB feed from the usual mask wearing virtue-signaling weirdos. I'm so sick of people's ugly, fat faces being made even more uglier by gross looking masks.

I'm glad the President is recovering quickly, just to prove how much of a joke this pandemic is.
