Imagine you are soo greedy, you empty your paypal EVERY DAY just so you can instantly spend it.
If Philth got all of the chargebacks he's constantly oinking and squealing about, Paypal would have at least locked his account for even a trivial investigation by now. That's why I think this subhuman cockroach is bullshitting his chargebegging schemes. Paypal no likey losing processing fees and dealing with fraudulent bank charges

Yeah, kind of strange how Phil goes from the bulletproof unkillable guy who wins every chargeback to the poor victim who is losing money every day to chargebacks.

Remember the discord leak. In it, Phil admitted that Rumple had successfully charged back like 300 dollars from him. So I think he isn't lying when he says that people charge back lots of tips, but he may be exaggerating how many chargebacks happen.

But I'm pretty sure he's not so dumb that he'd let his PayPal account go in the red, he's probably annoyed that he has to let 100 dollars or more stay still in his PayPal instead of going straight to sweaty men JPEGs.

Fair enough. I just find it hard to trust anything that two legged snake says so my skepticism is on maximum with anything he utters.

Exactly what @The_Penultimate_Warrior said. Like what he's doing with his Halloween bullshit, he's selectively picking shit that makes it easier on him. In this case, shit that doesn't make him rage. Only game that made Phil get annoyed with, was SF5, a game he said that wouldn't happen.

His events are total bullshit to begin with anyway. Everything he chooses to do has some agenda tied to how much money he can rake in by clickbaiting his viewers with his fake twitter nonsense.
only game that made him rage is also the game where he recieved the least amount of contributions therefore the audience doesn't like sf5 and its banned from all future marathons because "you guys obviously don't like it"

I love how fil talks so much caca about how tough he is but when he and Leanna went to a burger joint in his "last tour in CT" vhlaaags" he was walking with his head down and posture slouched the fuck over cause he had to pass a table full of black guys. Looking every bit as old as a man who requires a seat in his shower lol. You can tell he is the kind of guy who pats his pants to make sure his wallet wasn't lifted if there is a black person standing behind him in line. His face was so full of fear, he woulda no doubt tin my mind push Leanna out of his way towards them and runn his ass outta there if shit popped off

And his African Murican Gentleman salt the other day ;Mr Valedictorian didn't need to comment on the characters in the scene skin color when it only had the protag and the other guy in there was no need for a description when there were two people in it! He didnt mention how the protag is white but loves calling characters der blavk guyyy, doesn't even know their name either lmao :story: :story: :story:

His slightly different current circumstances have likely lead to this weird flip.
When Rumple was active and winning (among others who were probably winning chargebacks), Phil was heavy in debt and his paypigs were less consistent (stream tip goals were not hit, influxes of money came from near-monthly fundraisers). It was in Phil's interest at that time to lie about winning all chargebacks in order to deter them because he needed to do what he could to maintain a steady income with occasional spikes.

Now, Phil regularly hits tip goals and will frequently exceed them. Between OiC and Boone, he is getting massive monthly paychecks from Twitch that he memoryholes in any money conversation. I suspect Phil is getting an influx of chargebacks, but that he isn't losing them all. His choice to 'refund' on screen is dubious, but it seems to be connected to one account in particular, probably who regularly wins against him anyway. While other tips are suspect, he doesn't refund them immediately because he may have a chance to win those on challenge. As an added bonus, he now has a reason not to add them to to the tip goal, so the money is effectively 'hidden' and never mentioned again.

However, he is already making more than enough to balance out any chargebacks he actually loses, and if he uses the chargebacks to beg, he can probably balance them on the extra begging alone. Further, he has no other reason to beg now. So now, he is talking about losing chargebacks, and framing it like he is instantly losing the money when it is contested only because this is now the way he nets more money. Phil is always lying to some degree, and The Narrative is just whatever is going to result in more money in his pocket. An inexplicable shift like this is usually just because he sniffed out a better pile of truffles/money to pursue.

Imagine you are soo greedy, you empty your paypal EVERY DAY just so you can instantly spend it.
Even worse, Paypal charges him a fee for transferring it immediately. If he just waited, there's no fee. He wants that money so bad that he's willing to lose a small portion of it just to have it in his pocket right away.

Where is Joe mama?

Also, not a children entertainer.
Phil said that Jo Mama is now downstairs somewhere.

He told some weird story about how Jo Mama couldn't sit nicely on the loveseat last year, and he repeatedly complained to his parents (who gifted it to him - a Mother Burnell QVC special) about this. Phil says they said, "Wow, you really like this skull, eh?" And Phil told them that it was a hit on stream.
So then this year they bought him this one and sent it to him.

So is Jo Mama downstairs, or did it break, necessitating a replacement as this story would seem to insinuate? We may never know, since we'll never be able to have a condo tour and spot more recent $500 electronic doodads that were purchased during an alleged asset-free bankruptcy.

I think the entire chargeback meme is a pre-cursor to changing the tips goal to $200 per stream
True. I can hear it now. "A lot of peepul have been suggesting that I just set the goal to $200 in order to counter the recent chargebacks. They want to have that goal to support me! Well, if that's what you guys want!"

I actually randomly watched this clip like a week and a half ago searching for something else and couldn't remember how to get back to it, but in this video Phil pretty much lays out why he tries so hard to not be scared by games.

The really relevant part as to why is @ 10m25s, but I started the Timestamp @ 7m02s because you get a long rant from Phil about how the game 'Slender' isn't scary at all. . .and he also explains how before he actually played it he watched many videos of people playing the game and knew everything about the game: where everything spawns, what the objective is, where all the locations are, that something is stalking you, what is stalking you, how to deal with what is stalking you, literally everything. . .just like he does with every game that has a potential to be 'scary'.

Also before the timestamp he says something about how Resident Evil style games are what he finds really scary

The answer is: Phil thinks being scared is feminine/effeminate/being a 'little girl'. Phil is very afraid of people figuring out that he is gay. He's most afraid that he himself will figure out he's gay

I should be studying but instead, I made a compilation of DSP bragging about winning chargebacks:

Feel free to steal this and share it on Twitter or Reddit.
I wonder how many of those stories were fabricated. He accidently says cheers instead of tips at one point. He called a guy an idiot about 5 times from what I heard.

Was this all a way to deter people from actually charging back? It's funny seeing his attitude now do a 180 about chargebacks. This man is a nut.

I know this isn't really news, but I still found it interesting to hear Phil explicitly talk about it.

In the most recent video from Snort Burnell, there's a segment near the end in which Phil says that he's glad that he didn't try to do another thing other than streaming, because with the pandemic this became one of the best years ever for him (?)

Now think about this for a second. This fucking retard has such a stupid and egocentric brain that he sees a situation never before seen by anyone alive, with massive negativity for millions around the world; a situation in which it was shown how important it is to have a stable income and to save up money to be prepared for the worst; and his conclusion is "Shieeeet, thank God I didn't quit streaming, pandemics are awesome!".

When he eventually falls, I'll remember this choice of his and laugh.

Says this is one of his best years ever. Has said what he made on YouTube before the "adpocalypse" was "stupid money". Has previously admit Machinima overpaid him when he first started YouTube.

Has literally said he's too poor to pay for not only new consoles vital to his business, but new games for his business and... Groceries.
