Does it seem to anyone else like they're trying to build up to a Biden has COVID narrative and imply he got it from evil orange man? I just don't get it if they are. If they're actually concerned about that, why wouldn't they have him quarantined and tested, immediately and continuously? They accused Trump of going around and spreading COVID but now they're watching Biden do it, too? Are they just really at wits end trying to figure out how to respond to everything now that Trump has taken over every airwave in America?

Because they're not actually worried about covid. They're out canvassing because something they know that the polls don't tells them they have deep shit problems and have very little time to fix them. A COVID scare would be an incredible excuse for them to lock down for 2 weeks of instant lids and prerecorded events.

Also a COVID scare would not work for Biden at all. While Trump has COVID, he has the advantage in this case of being an incumbent president, Biden having COVID would be worse given it would open up a lid for all of his other health issues and he is older than Trump. Biden wants to be seen as healthy right now with Trump getting COVID and it would further demotivate his voter base and draw attention to Kamala if Biden got it.

Plus they already killed that option by testing him and reporting it clean. Unless they're going to say he caught it at the debate and got tested too soon for it to show? I legit don't know if there is a "too soon", but even if there isn't they can get people to shriek it on Twitter just by implying, I suppose.

I'm thinking back to when Boris got the Coof, and he came out fine but he looked haggard as fuck when he did. I'd bet $20 that when Trump comes out he'll look worse for wear for a few days, and suddenly every media source under the sun will be super concerned about his long term health and "We can't have a sickly president", after having spent all that time refuting it in regards to Biden.
Of course, his base will probably respect him "Coming in to work while he's still on the mend", that's something anyone who's worked a menial shit job knows all too well. The Dems will mock it and it'll be the steak with ketchup all over again.

Even so, Biden is weaker than Trump.
Look at how vigorous Trump was before catching COVID-19. He was doing 2-4 rallies every week, running the world's strongest nation, brokering three peace deals, and had a strong debate performance against Biden where most consider him the winner. Sure he's slightly overweight and old, but chances are good that he'll be out before the election.
Biden walks slower than Trump does and his inflection is not nearly as large as Trump's when he speaks. Trump can frequently perform rallies that are around ninety minutes. Most Biden "rallies" have few, if any bystanders attending and he often does not even get half an hour or much attention. He's also had brain cancer before and that's not even going into his declining mental health. If he gets the virus, there's a good chance he will die or be incapacitated to the point where he would give up the election in Trump in all but public admittance. His campaign managers will take no chances on what's left of Biden's health.
They're already pushing a concern trolling narrative against Trump where a bunch of anonymous sources claim that Trump has one foot in the grave and things will only get worse. It's the only way leftist media can push for Trump's death without immediately turning most people off. Time will tell if Trump will die or even face life threatening complications like Johnson did.
As long as Trump's illness does not progress to life-threatening - which is why he got admitted to the Walter Reed Military Medical Center yesterday as a precaution - he stands to gain from it. I'm sure he'll face additional symptoms but anyone who lived through COVID-19 could tell you that.

Imagine if Trump got out of the hospital, started doing rallies again, and did something crazy, like brokered the entry of Saudi Arabia into the Abraham Accords with Israel. He could go out and say "I spent the last two months making tremendous peace deals, got COVID, recovered, and made another peace deal immediately after. What has Biden done in 47 years?"
I still don't think the defining point of the election has occurred yet.

The weird part is, this isn't even the October Surprise. An October Surprise isn't something that is completely out of people's control, which is what Trump catching the coronavirus is. Ruth Bader Ginsburg dying, on the other hand, is something she could have controlled to an extent since she could have stepped down before Trump got elected president. It's possibly the wildest election cycle we ever had and yet we instinctively realize there are still more twists and turns left. It's exciting yet nerve-wrecking to witness the election in real time.
I believe that if Trump recovers in a couple of weeks that he will go back to doing rallies, possibly even do one more debate with Biden. He'd no doubt play up the narrative that being the anti-lockdown president, he beat the virus and as such, we no longer need to do lock down policies.

RBG dies on Sept. 18th. Two weeks later, Trump gets covid. I expect something crazy will happen around the 16th and 30th of this month.
