That's a problem huh? Very few artists actually put care into 'racebending' characters, altering them to be from/a part of a specific culture
A lot of tumbrinas constantly do this. They racebend a character(turning their skin Dark Chocolate™ brown or paprika tan), and their fellow tumblrinas either praise them for it.
Not a lot of the people on Tumblr actually voice out how shitty it is, cause they'd get jumped by the 'woke' crowd.

I will say I wish some of the Blacktober designs had a bit more of their own original spin on it, especially since there’s so many hairstyles and African cultures to take inspiration from. Someone on Twitter actually did a pretty cool blacktober piece for Inuyasha and used some transitional clothing and hairstyles

And when they got a black guy with a cheap wig to do a "face reveal" EVERYONE on Tumblr that was chimping out immediately stopped and started kissing ass so fast their lips fell off. God, I almost wish Internet Historian had a video on it. It was so bad, but so funny.

I like how pretty much all of that joke whitewashing art was drawn with far more effort and knowledge of anatomy/color theory than the stuff on this thread. Like, they made them white, but didn't just simply change only the skin tone and call it a day.
