I think his Ragnarok might have been the moment when his style of comedy was stretched too far. Apparently no one had the clout to tell him to tone it done to prevent it from becoming grating and hammy. Now unrestrained he might be just another hollywood blowhard who thinks they're a genius.

I liked Ragnarok at the time, but I find it difficult to go back to - it's concentrated MCU snark dialogue, with everyone talking in the same voice.

I'm also still peeved that Valkyrie has been turned into this massive Heroic icon, despite her back story involving her hunting and selling people into slavery for her own financial gain.
