"parallels between fantasy fiction races and real world racial stereotypes are obvious once you look at them....the funny little short people who cook your food and pick your vegetables (hobbits, ahem, halflings)"
What? What race is this stereotyping? I honestly have no idea, Chinese people?? They pick your vegetables? What? Not to get on the "LIBTARDS ARE THE REAL RACISTS" thing, but literally, it is true. "OMG there are evil orcs, you black people must be so offended!"
These people are more racist than I am and I'm an actual racist.
EDIT: Does she mean Hobbits are like Mexican people? Is that what she means? Are Mexicans stereotypically short? I guess so. Is she implying that an Englishman in 1937 predicted the dominance of Latin Americans in the food and agricultural industry in the United States decades before it happened, and made a racist caricature about them? Tolkien is a psychic and used his powers to look at a different country 50 years in the future and make a racist stereotype, what a legend.
