I agree that in general hiking is neutral but his description of the harsh environs that test the soul of a man might deter the average woman as hilarious.

The "I took a week to do it" thing makes it believable to me. Its a 40 mile trail, so an average of 5 miles a day of mostly-flat hiking is something that any non-obese person can manage. Gear might make it a bit more difficult but it still isn't really anywhere near a superhuman feat.
The "thousands of meters of elevation" thing is a lulzy overestimate given that many mountains arn't that tall. Two thousand meters elevation change would be climbing a taller mountain a day, and from what I can tell its mostly just going in and out of an 80 meter canyon. The rivers they're so proud of wading through have hand grips to help you get across.

-her "anti-trans pamphlet" was a blog post outlining her concerns about doing irreversible surgery on minors at the behest of anti-science ideologues, and
