Oh my god this is such garbage writing. "We haven't spoken in 10 years" but you still have her current number in your phone labeled "Mom". The mom also calls the Pokemon "G" instead "your Pokemon" or "your Gardevoir". Who the fuck would type someone's full name over text as if it had the same effect as saying it? And isn't that, like, kind of a cliche no one actually does anymore? And Lily is once more using G's feelings for her to make jokes and mock other people.

Legally, if Comic!Lily's mom were so inclined she could send the authorities to C!Lily's house, have her arrested and have G reclaimed, And probably have legal custody of Bonnie stripped away from C!Lily, because "Damn Those Stick Legs Are Sexy" looks pretty bad regardless of whether your referring to your pokemon, or your legal child.
And that would actually make the story interesting. But we know thats not going to happen

This is honestly something I don't get, she complains constantly about people asking too much about her personal life and 'you should know to have boundaries and not ask' but sometimes people do ask and she tells them anyway. Just another testimony to her contradictory nature I guess.

Also hard agree the story seems fake as hell. I grew up with a kid who's sister was actually like that and she tried to kill him a few times and he was never able to give a clear description of what happened. Like if he or his sister were throwing punches they weren't counting how many or whenever she tended to attack him its because usually something beforehand had happened. I don't think lily is as innocent as she wants to seem and she probably provoked a lot of those fights.
The part where she mentions standing up to her sister who was bullying a little girl also reads as extremely preachy to me. Of course she protected a girl, and the girl and her sister years later were like "wow you stood up to your sister you're so cool for doing that" because lily is and always has been a white knight standing up for the poor oppressed women of the world.

Also some of the stuff she described to me just sounds like being a brother and a sister? I'm an only child so I can't use anything personal to defend what I'm saying but my dad has a sister and he still hasn't forgiven her for breaking his bike when he was like 12 because my grandmother forced him to give his bike to my aunt. Is it petty? very, but I just feel like that's kind of normal for siblings? Like when lily talks about how much she used to squabble with her sister as children, that just seems like normal kid shit, but Lily's describing it as raging abuse.

The most I remember about fights I got into as a kid was "Bricks were involved and somehow a fire started."

And yeah, Lilly is about 30, right? And yet somehow every bad thing that has ever happened to her she was totally and competently innocent in the situation. There's leaving out irrelevant detail and then there's "I look at my life through Hallmark movie montages"

I think a part of it is a sense of power/spite. She's not just looking for an excuse to cancel projects she's too lazy to finish, but she wants the chance to beat down her fans and flaunt their disappointment. The legit fans feel like shit because their 'mistakes' hurt her content and she gets high off the satisfaction of knowing that denying others of her content made them feel bad.
