Not gonna lie, it was incredibly satisfying watching Calliope go pure, silent, concentrated rage mode and not completely suck ass at the game for once. Just as the Doom Slayer intended.

For me, I give zero fucks about trying to find out creepy stuff like their names, age, weight, where they live or the location of Coco's Hololive house. Same with their pics.. they look like normal Asian girls and half their pics have so many makeup and filters on them they're meaningless. The only thing I was curious about was if Noel's chest size is as large as they say on stream (Knight cup) cus they joke about it so much.

What does fascinate me are their previous roles, it's the same as trying to identify which other movies an actor/actress has been in. Hololive's scouting department must be damn good, cus they find and sign some amazing talent. For example Ina and Marine, their art is so good you know they aren't some random tumblr or pixiv artists. They gotta be current or former pros and I don't think it's weird to wanna know what else they've worked on. Same with their talent, you can tell in their debuts that some are waaay more experienced like Polka and must be former vtubers or streamers of some sort. Others like Calli are obvious noob vtubers but hired for her other talents.

In other news, Marine boomer stream manage to be national TT on japan, people is already crowdfunding to pay some translator to sub the entire thing and some are even written tons of lore imagining how the hololives of the future are

Edit: checking Kiara responses apparently she is now using the PC of her manager while the parts of the new one are being delivered, apparently she was moving and could not use her normal pc (that still sucks) then the internet also sucks and she got the sads she was on reddit thanking people for their support but really bird just send a discord call to the lion and tell her to build you one

Yeah, she's playing on PS4. She considers her PC to be too much of a potato for something like Doom Eternal for the time being, although I highly doubt she'd have any better of a time playing on PC instead considering how often she forgets her buttons, mods, equipment, and the very basic rule of "never stop moving" when it comes to Eternal's gameplay flow. Her first stream playing it, you'd think she'd never played a video game before in her entire life, let alone a first person shooter, but, by God, she's determined not to lower the difficulty for herself and to tough it out regardless.

For reference's sake, here's a compilation of her fuckups from her first stream:

To expand on this, she currently has TWO computers of her own: A gaming PC she has overseas which she won't be able to get her hands on for "5 months" and her temp PC, which is what she was using to stream on until recently she moved, left it behind (for whatever reason?), and has since taken to using her manager's marginally better but still dogshit PC that can't even run Minecraft. She was intending to go for six hours of Minecraft but the game and most apps on her manager's PC crashed within an hour in, and then the game chugged like a motherfucker on relaunch so much so that she got depressed and killed the stream after less than another hour.

She also went on the record stating that she's not going to use all that Superchat money people were throwing at her to just build a better PC because she doesn't think the cost investment is worth it, told a story about how she's stuck in a "survivor budget" mindset because of how she's been living since she struck out on her own, and insists that "5 months will go by quickly" and that her overseas gaming PC will be way, way better and worth the wait time. Also, she said she doesn't even know the first thing about working on computers, so much so that she doesn't even know how to take the side panel off of a case.

So she has a lemon, I blame Hitomi for cover not providing equipment, at least she should get a gaming laptop, 5 months of streams going to the shit are going to affect her grow she is the only Myth that has not breaked the 300k lines

Chat was trying to tell her the same thing but Kiara remains totally convinced that it isn't worth the investment and that she can very easily make do for 5 months on potato hardware since, by her own words, the time will fly by quickly.

She's also doubling down on refusing to spend any further because she allegedly already spent way too much money on her audio setup for streaming. She's really not thinking about making sure her bases are safely covered for the time being so she can provide a stable and steady viewing experience even though all her donators are practically begging for her to use their hundreds of dollars to improve her computer situation at the moment.

To answer some questions about the equipment: Calli doesn't even own a PC. Supposedly her setup is streaming from the inside of a fucking closet somewhere sitting on the floor with her laptop sitting on top of some milk crates.

Kiara has a gaming PC and a less powerful workstation, and is in the middle of a move. She was borrowing her manager's rig since her current home doesn't even have Internet set up. The issue wasn't Minecraft but rather the L2D rendering software. That shit is a motherfucker on RAM and while the manager's GPU is better than Kiara's, the CPU is not and he might only have 4gb of ram in his potato.

I actually never heard about Calli's PC situation, which is weird considering Demondice has had a laptop since July.

Couldn't Kiara have just gone still image for the stream, then, if the Live2D software is such a hog? Watching and hearing her play is what's most important.

She could use her manager PC to run the Live2D software and get like a 700 bucks laptop for gaming, she has to fold someday, i know that when you suddenly get a influx of money after being poor for a long time make you having fear of wasting it because the future is uncertain, still she has to admit that is business expense and 5 months* is a long time she cant afford, she can easily get a half decent laptop with a GTX 1650 for that price

*i think she believe the lockdowns and the corona panic is going to last that much

Is she back in Austria or Japan? Could she order a laptop off Amazon or something? I got the Pavillion 15 for a good price, maybe she should try it...
