The term 'wignat' originally had a real meaning. It was supposed to be a way for people to call out LARPers where all they do is just shout edgy shit but hardly do anything useful, and people who were still stuck in WN 1.0-era tactics, like Cantwell, Heimbach, and to a degree, Spencer. Of course, these days it pretty much has devolved into just another insult, like Chud but for the right.
And in Kami's case, it's because his occupation is that of a 'entertainer/comedian'. He doesn't care about his own optics because ultimately, his edginess is his content. Kami has no intention at all to ever be on an Australian vote or something. The problem is with Nick associating with him when Kami's brand of humor is basically no different than just opening up /pol/ and scrolling through the threads there, when Nick's endgame is to actually get into mainstream politics or at least influence it.
That makes me wonder, does Kami every proclaim to be Catholic or talk about it a lot on stream?

Kami has said he is an atheist multiple times on stream, and Nick's justification for the 10 hour Chicago stream, is that he was "trying to convert him".
Nick made Patrick Casey, convert if he was going to associate with AF (TM), a few months ago. Patrick Casey, took over identity Evropa and Turned it into AIM, after the wise leadership of Casey thought it would be a good idea to use discord for its activities, which lead to unicorn riot doxing his entire group and did nothing about it. He then rebranded and is now using discord again, while all of his supporters are now doxed.
What should also be entertaining, is that it seems like Patrick is going on the RV6 trip with baked alaska, Patrick is like a more autistic and awkward Nick. There is also footage of Nick yelling at Patrick Casey in a Arizona new years party with baked. Nick is like 8 years younger than Patrick

I think Nick tries to hold onto Patrick, regardless of his fuckups because to Nick, Patrick is his 'living token of victory' over Spencer. Patrick used to be part of Identity Evropa, which was heavily involved with Spencer, but ever since Patrick joined Nick's fold and rebranded himself, Nick probably feels really good for himself that he has a one-up over his rival. That feeling of: "Ha! I cucked a member of Spencer's clique, and now he's part of mine!" even if he's a fuckup.

If Nick was actually TradCath instead of just exploiting their imagery, he would know that TradCaths want Franco - not Mussolini., because he advocated National Catholicism and would execute people to protect the faith. While Mussolini was an atheist who mocked Christianity in private (publicly before he went from socialism to fascism and took over the country) he did grant Vatican City independent statehood and recognized Catholicism as Italy's national religion. The former in particular was a pretty big deal, and has left a legacy to this day. So it's not entirely out of left field that a TradCath with authoritarian tendencies would like him. Mussolini maintained a mutually beneficial political alliance with the Vatican, whereas Franco was a devout believer. Hitler only tolerated Catholicism out of political convenience and toyed with having the Pope assassinated for undermining him.

At least a lot of the big-name WigNats like Varg and others, actually have children and a wife. I don't know much about the Murdoch Murdoch guys but I'm pretty sure one of them at least is now starting a family? Even David Duke was closer to a political position than Nick would ever be, and no Laura Loomer doesn't count, after all, with their logic, she's a woman (Jewish too I think) and they don't belong in politics, at all.
That's more than anything these AmNats have ever accomplished so far when it comes to their personal goals of being traditional and effective in the real world.
