Ive been out of the picture for a week or so, has this faggot been proven to be lying about the kidnapping which he clearly was?

Maybe it's just the nerd in me, but I couldn't make it past four minutes into the Kahntent video about re:zero due to the combination of them asking for money to make it, and them getting a basic fact about the show wrong that I picked up on with very low investment in the show within the first four minutes of the show. It's just an example of the laziness and lack of respect of his audience that he's exhibited for years now.

I'm the fool because there was a time where I'd skip the anime just based on his videos. Now I skip the video based on watching the anime. Those poor overworked and underpaid bastards who made it at least deserve more attention than this lazy and delusional cretin.
Even when the Re:Zero anime came out a few years back, Digibro didn't seem to have any strong interest in the series. The Pleeb and the Weeb episode on the entirety of Re:Zero's first season gave off the impression he just wanted to be done with it and move on to discuss anime he was actually interested in, since he promised to review it when it ended.
(Timestamped for Digi's closing thoughts on Re:Zero)
Taking both of these into account, Khantent's Re:Zero videos just seem like shoddy desperate cynical cash grabs that make Mother's Basement and Gigguk look like Demolition D. Digi and (possibly also Nate) has become exactly what he despised about anitube years ago - trite, unimpassioned, and creatively bankrupt. Unfortunately, it seems to be working if Khantent's Subscribestar numbers are anything to go by albeit slowly.

Like I said before, they should just upload all the content they have to give the channel its own identity instead of pandering to the anitube algorithm and being a poor man's RLM.

Indeed. Releasing more than one video a week is another way to boost your algorithmic standing.

Re:Zero videos just seem like shoddy desperate cynical cash grab
As Nate had not yet seen the show, I can see the logic behind it. Re-evaluation by discussing it with a different person, creating "new" content, just in time to cover the second season. It's a solid idea, but as we can see in the views and reactions, Digi is losing his old supporters at an alarming rate; and as new viewers (that are fans of re-zero) arrive thinking they get to watch two people give the show an honest shot (as they aren't familiar with Digi/Jess' video) are instead seeing them rip on it relentlessly, making tons of mistakes such as not remembering events and characters correctly. No wonder people downvote their videos.

I don't want to shit on Nate that much as Digi is the most forgetful one of the two, forgetting names and events (WEED DUDE 420 LMAO), but I'm not leaving him out the fire. He's a lazy cunt that can make catchy content and could make some fat stacks of money if only he could get himself to work on stuff. I have no idea how Nate justifies quitting his job as a programmer to focus on his YT "career" with his current rate of output. What does he do all day? I've heard him say in a past PCP episode that when he plays a videogame for over two hours he start to feel guilty, as his parents always tried to correct him on wasting time. He talks about his big utilitarian ideas for mankind, but he should practice what he preaches. I think Nate is the most stable mind amongst all PCP members, but he's also a massive hypocrite.

Sometimes I wonder if we have passed the era of shitting on shows just for the sake of it and if people are just watching content as affirmation, but I can't say that just from their videos, due to their lazy attitude towards analyzing it. If you want to analyze something, get your facts straight. While both Digi and Nate have done solid analysis before, their lackluster attitude and forgetfulness in these videos shows and people don't like it.

I haven't watched the video and I don't plan on it, but not much infuriates me more with a 'content reviewer' than when they are factually wrong during a *critical* review. Mike and Jay in 'Half in the Bag' get something wrong about a recently released film they watched once in the cinema 2 days ago? bit embarrassing but I get it, plus they generally rely on their raw reactions and as a result some of their best moments are because one of them will be wrong about something and the other will correct them and in the act change their mind. These two anime nerds doing a deep dive into content that has been out for some time, that they can watch and rewatch at will (or even read sodding wiki articles about) and still get basic things factually wrong? infuriating, and it's hard to see an excuse for it.

At the end of the day it just comes across as disrespectful. Not just to their fans either, but to themselves. Have some pride in your work ffs, it's plainly clear to large swathes of your audience when you don't and some of that will affect your finances. I know this is a highly autistic post, but it just winds me up a bit when people like this rely on their content to make a living, try to foster a community built upon their commitment to the medium, but then do dumb lazy shit like this and go on to complain about viewers/income.

If Bardock Obama and his loyal army of spergy 13 year-olds (who pretend to be 30) couldn't kill Digi, I don't think Internet Drama Man With Cartoon Avatar #156893 is going to do it. Not that I'm opposed to it or anything. I just think it'll be weak tea and not really tread any new ground. Digi embraces every awful characterization of himself without hesistation and seems to be in a constant PR race to the bottom. He has his coterie of degenerate devotees and that's all he seems to need.
Dude, there is no "defeating" or "killing" a cow. The nature of this shit is the ebb and flow. I don't expect turkey tom to "end him" this will be just another chapter in it. Hence why I said arc. None of these cows go away. They might lay low, they might even change their names and resurface later in a new guise but they can't help themselves.

Personally I like Tom's narrative style and I'll likely be entertained by it, regardless of it likely being a summation of the thread. It's good to have that stuff packaged into a nice video,

That's the result of doing videos on a show you don't really care about. As I said, watch the Made in Abyss video for how Nate reacts to something he DOES care about (he even read the manga because he didn't want to wait on the anime) and it shows that he does really care about shows/content that does fall within his sphere of interests. But as someone who watched anime for years, I've personally accepted that there are only about 2 to 6 new (non-sequels) a year and I'm fine with that. So much that I feel like it's almost not possible to run an algorithmic sound channel on YT these days that revolves around only anime without stating the obvious shit (as in doing thorough analysis videos 30 to 60+ minutes long - which takes time to write and edit).

True cows will bring about their own downfall and Digi is a prime example of this. Expediting the process is free game though.

Your mistake was expecting anything from a member of the PCP, even Nate.
Funnily enough Ben actually started getting his shit together in the last year quite a bit, running a successful Kickstarter managing a bunch of artist contributors and has fulfilled all his stuff without a hitch. Say what you will about his politics but it actually feels like he's an adult. Nate by contrast has just kept getting worse as time goes on, Constantly going on about how he is slipping on his scheduling and repeating his line of "if you aren't happy unpatron me, that will motivate me." but when people do leave he doesn't seem to learn anything from it and keeps making the same mistakes.

His communication is so bad with his audience, He never talks about progress on his work or what he is working on and expects people to just be ok with 2-3 month breaks with literally zero content or progress reports at all. For a guy who is theoretically the most business savvy of the bunch, he is god awful at understanding how to be a creator. I don't think it's entitled to say that, if you operate on a monthly contribution model, you should at the very least get a single progress report out within the period to keep people assured of progress, but for some reason he just can't grasp that and is consistently weeks late on delivering his monthly 1 hour unscripted report. It's insane.

What they should've done is dedicate videos to entire seasons of anime and other works they were actually interested in, and only after they had collected enough important information to talk about a work accurately and have interesting points to share, which is what The Pleeb and the Weeb was. The anime podcasts Conrad and Nate did back in 2017 weren't the kind of content that could stand up as their own channel. They were just an excuse to have a fun time analyzing anime episodes while making a couple bucks along the way. They were not serious analyses, and were sometimes misinformative. Most people don't want to support content with such a low level of professionalism let alone buy access to bonus episodes when, for all they know, they could be just as awful as their Re:Zero content.

Imagine if Conrad and Nate had treated this channel as the spiritual successor to The Pleeb and the Weeb - gushing about their favorite works, and ripping on the ones they love to hate, with comedic skits and engaging editing along the way. How many of their former fans do you think that would win back or at the very least be the first step in doing so? But that's not gonna happen. That would require commitment and passion.

The way Digibro almost never did any research before making a video always pissed me off. I remember when Houseki no Kuni/Land of the Lustrous came out, all characters in that show are living gemstones so they are immortal, they can be glued back together when they break and they have no gender. Anyone who read the author's previous works knows there is nothing unusual about that, she's written about plant people and bug people before. In an interview she said the reason for that is:

"– From there it naturally leads to ‘Then what about humans?’. Do you write manga in the hope of gaining a greater understanding of this world and humans?

That is mostly why I write manga. What is it that makes us human? Even if not completely, I want to get a hold on this secret."

And indeed what makes her manga so interesting is stuff like seeing how a character who lived for thousands of years would act or what your sense of self would be after having most of your body parts replaced by new materials. But what differentiates Houseki from her older works the most is the Buddhist symbolism, the author's high school was a Buddhist school and the very reason she decided to write about gemstones was:

"Even in regard to lessons, in a normal high school I’d imagine you’d study ‘ethics’ but here we studied about Shinran as a part of Buddhism for three years. During these lessons, through Buddhist scripture I learned of the ‘Longer Sukhavativyuha Sutra (Muryo Jukyo)’. One line states ‘the Western Paradise is made up of gems’. The Western Paradise is apparently comprised of gems, you see."

Anyway, the point I want to make is: Digibro's video about Houseki was all about how it is nice that the characters don't have a gender. That's it. He acted like Houseki was meant to be relatable to trans people or whatever while the author probably never thought about that.

Welp. I guess Digi's cutting their dick off.

The only fact I can take solace in with all this talk of cutting his dick off is that the dumb fuck is too lazy (and too broke, probably) to go through with it.
Also, god damn, its already been 2 months since Nate put out a video on his main channel

I guess he's ok with just barely staying afloat off of his $800 patreon + twitch/khantent (as far as I can tell he can barely even manage 100 viewers a stream. nothing interesting is really in any of them, he usually clocks in, talks about final fantasy and one piece for 2 hours, and then ends stream.)

Add to that what little revenue he makes doing the PCP and the Po D. Cast (One Piece chapter discussion podcast with Hippocrit)

what is this even supposed to mean lol

I missed this bit both on his twitter and here. I'm still waiting for Conrad "assigned white at birth" Collins to come out as trans black. He's slowly getting there.

200 Quatloos that he won't and also he didn't claim he would. Or might. Or give any substantial reply whatsoever. He replies with questions because he hopes people will mistake him for a fucking Socrates.

It honestly puzzles me how Nate is staying afloat right now/does with his free time. Over the past year he has managed to decrease his earnings( by 15 percent) and output despite hiring an editor. Any videos he does release are months after the relevancy window (Still waiting for that 7R review). I can only assume he will spend the next 3 months making a Minecraft Steve smash video. Every time someone asks him what he's doing/working on Nate just mentions how busy he is? The PCP which he isn't really involved in at the moment has tanked in quality/lost 30 percent of their earnings in the past year. The Po D Cast makes 80 bucks a month. He was streaming Pokemon pretty inconsistently to decent viewership but now that he has switched to death stranding his viewership has halved (last time i checked he had about ~20 viewers per stream). At one point in his past streams Nate mentioned almost all his videos on YT are demonetized. You would think after a year of this shit he would put his eggs in a different basket considering he just turned 30. We also know he recently moved to VB, which moving is expensive af. Are his parents or gfs parents bankrolling him wtf is going on. I can only assume he is maybe doing contracting work or a different job on the side?

If I had to guess, he's probably doing what he always does: investing way too much time and effort on a single video that he hopes will make back all the money he burned making it.

He's also no longer in Cincinnati so he can't get his all tech job back without moving again, effectively trapping himself in a "make it or break it" situation.

I kinda wonder if he eventually did go back to having a real job but he's too scared to admit to his audience that he backed out of the Youtube fulltime game, especially after building up all that hype leading up to him going fulltime and talking about how he's sooo productive and busy

Now Thats What I Call Free Falling(tm) 2

The same way 98% of mid/smaller youtubers stay afloat - they were born spoiled delusional brats whos parents pay for everything far into their 30's.
Youtube is just a playground for narcissistic entitled cunts.

@Kawaii UwU nobody cares about your loli obsession. This thread is about the tranny - not about your loli fetish. If you find it boring, then kindly fuck off.
