If I'm reading this tweet correctly, it appears that she will be taking a break from streaming for a couple of days as a result of the chinese raid on her stream

One of the things that absolute baffle me is how Cover deal with this kind of situations, they do a draconian effort to get talents but later they just are there to collect their tithe and promote, but if a talent get technical issues they go in full venezuela "every dog lick their own balls", like come on having at least a single IT guy to help them with those issues can't be that hard, their computer is their work instrument at least give her some advice if you are not going to give her a new rig, is not that they can ask someone else to do it because contract and reasons

Ok im not going to technically defend reddit but considering all the shit that has happened recently i would not blame them, every time a Holo get sick, on hiatus, suspended or destroy a car by sheer gorilla power they get jumpy, this started with Aloe and is not going to go away until some kind of guarantee is put on place, another thing, Cover should forget a little that they are now exclusively japanese company, the draconian "no mention, don't talk about the heretics" rule is dumb as hell, pretty sure they will be less jumpy if they at least could use their social media accounts, conspiratards have even said that Yagoo was on Gura stream to reprimand her for violating the no mention rule but stopped when almost 70k persons were there, Gura is by now reaching Coco levels of power just by sheer numbers

Overall HoloEN seems to prefer running their Live2D models whenever possible. Maybe it's mandated for them or something. But is kind of weird when a lot of Hololive JP does it with host only having model, and the rest being static images.

Is mostly standard but some of them are already receiving 3D upgrades like Marine, there are several factors for it, mostly if they have the equipment and if the model doesn't look weird, like Matsuri that looks odd in 3D

So the girls are likely not rolling in all that superchatto time money till management takes it's cut.

They also get Adsense money, they get dosh but are not exactly cashing like a american successful youtuber should, is not like you see actors in japan on BMW, rolls royce or big ass mansions, things are very different there

If this is true, it sounds like another vtuber being disproportionately punished for banter. I kinda like Hoshikawa so this annoys me. Though I might of misread the situation as I cannot speak Japanese and so I based understanding on twitter replys.

See, I can kinda get that with 64 and Sunshine, but Odyssey seems INCREDIBLY hand-holding for just basic progression so I die a little bit inside when she tells chat that a gameplay/control function that EVEN THE TUTORIAL WORDS PLASTERED ON THE SCREEN ARE SAYING YOU CAN DO IN THAT MOMENT just "don't work".

Civia is definitely one of the most badass of the whole Hololive crew.

Also, one thing I find is a good way to keep track of trends is watching Danbooru, and lately you see at least 4 or 5 Hololive pictures every day, Gura obviously was a large chunk of them for the first week after her debut, but Botan, Fubuki, Aqua and Korone are common, as is Nene. Miko fanart is picking up recently, too.

Edit: It‘s also funny sometimes seeing which characters artists seem to feel are off-limits for lewding and hentai. Korone, Ayame and Mio are mostly wholesome. I was suprised that Kanata is mostly wholesome art. And I wasn’t surprised Matsuri & Aqua have lots of dirty fanart, but Nene having a bunch surprised me. Subaru was mostly wholesome and then suddenly got a bunch of really dirty fanart. Okayu has lots of bathing suit pics, which doesn’t surprise me.
