Cuomo's been bitching about the Hasidim not going along with the coof restrictions so this week he ordered synagogues closed which coincidentally is during Sukkoth, coming off the High Holy days, which are like a really big deal for religious Jews. He and Wilhelm go all out to protect looters and rioters running amok in the streets but they're selectively enforcing restrictions on religious institutions and observances. The Hasidim form a significant voting block and both of those scumbags promised the Hasidim all kinds of things if they voted for them. The irony here is the guys they voted for are ordering the cops to arrest them. Coming off the BLM Kristallnacht the optics are reminiscent of the SA rounding up der Juden.
You may laugh but the other day I was shopping and heard a feel good jingle about honoring our "essential workers" on the radio and my mind immediately brought up the scene in Schindler's List of Jews jockeying for permits to classify them as "essential workers" because that gave them a protected status. I'm not one to give into hyperbole but it is obvious the covid restrictions are selectively enforced.
This shit has been going on since March, when it was justified as a means to "flatten the curve". It is now October, the curve was flattened but we're still on lockdown. It's not quite the Reich forcing us to live in ghettos but it's getting there. I don't blame the Hasidim, especially since religious worship is protected by the First Amendment and there is no pandemic exception. This wasn't done during the 1918 Spanish flu, which was far more deadly than the chinky flu. It is discrimination and I am sure there are a bunch of Jewish lawyers planning a lawsuit as I type (and good, I sincerely hope they thoroughly rape Cuomo and De Blasio in Federal court).
