Netflix, Inc. indicted by grand jury in Tyler Co., Tx for promoting material in Cuties film

You're right on that because France has a long and dubious history with pedophilia and I can give you a bit more info in that front if you want.

It stems from "Mai 68" which a pseudo revolution made by woke students and writers/philosophers.
They were against prohibiding anything and very open mentaly and sexualy.

Thoses peoples are the teachers/politician/directors of today.
You can find a lot of spicy clips from very important politician saying things like: a kid discovering sexuality with an adult is a great thing, we tend to treat pedophiles too badly etc.

In adition, most well known serial pedos in France were linked to childrens trade networks.
It's a problem deeply rooted in French Society and you can find very disgusting shit if you go back some years ago.
Like a canadian journalist that was dogpilled by the media 30 years ago because she critisized a pedo apologist.
As an aside, this is where Trudeau-ism stems from. All this degeneracy started with Sartre, Foucault, and their ilk. Dates back to the Commune. Ol' Pierre really gobbled that shit up (along with linear miles of cock)

Was kind of a pain to look up since Texas has "state jail felonies" which is a term I'm not familiar with, but apparently, a first offense on this charge carries a minimum sentence of 180 days with a maximum of two years in prison.

Man we really backed the wrong side in the world wars.

The Germans put paedophile Oskar Dirlewanger in charge of a brigade and set them loose on Eastern Europe, and Japan had institutional brothels for forcing Chinese girls to serve them.

You have no idea how much we avoided by not having an Axis victory. 1940s fascists were not "conservative" in the American sense and were pretty depraved by today's standards. The western allies were by far the best behaved during the war, since the Soviets also engaged in mass rapes in Germany.

I'm pretty sure Japan's AOC isn't actually 13, if that's what you're referring to. The laws regarding sex in Japan are really convoluted and confusing, but I think the national law dictates prefectures cannot lower the AOC below 13, and if they tried it would be a very bad day for them. The "Japan's AOC is 13 so uhhhh..." thing is just spread by incel Redditors who think 14 is the prime age for breeding or something.

The laws are pretty weird, the federal law states no lower than 13 but it's left up to the Prefectures to decide what they want their AOC to be. Only 2 places set it at 13.
There's no Romeo and Juliet/close-in-age laws.
Meanwhile the age to consent to marry is 20.

Also it's *still* completely legal to possess full-blown child porn, the laws were revised not that long ago to merely make it a crime to produce.

Mention it though, and most Japanese people will tell you to fuck off and mind your own business, or that you're trying to apply western/Christian morals to a non-western/Christian society. Or y'know, the classic nod and agree while actually giving zero fucks.

Guy that worked at a food place I used to go to got busted for paying a high school girl for sex ("compensated dating" is the official euphemism) but I think that was more due to money changing hands than it being statutory rape.

Possessing child porn was banned in Japan in 2014. The government wanted to ban it earlier but there were disputes over the exact wording of the law so it didn't pass until then, though producing and selling was already banned for decades.

You're right about prefectures setting higher ages than the federal minimum though. All that I've heard of are 16-18 similar to US states, and I don't know of any places lower except maybe uninhabited islands.

Possession was finally made illegal in 2014. And yeah, the reason it took so long is because the people writing the laws kept trying to slip in a lolicon ban in the same law instead of restricting it to pornography involving real children.

Nuke them again and keep nuking them until they learn their lesson.

Edit: Even if it was banned in twenty-fucking-fourteen, any society that takes until 2014 to ban actual chile porn deserves a few more mushroom clouds.

This has happened before?
Yes. The 1980s porn star Traci Lords was exposed as having been underage in many of her videos, so they were all banned and censored. Some have been re-released with substituted scenes of other performers.

Ironically the nuclear wasteland would be full of rape. Social collapse is bad for children.

Also you can't really punish countries for things that stopped years ago, that's basically the logic of slavery reparations.

Thank fuck, never been more glad to be wrong. I gtfo of there pre-2014 so I haven't been paying as much attention to changes in legislation over there.
When I was there you could still buy magic mushrooms in sex shops lol.

What's funny is this is actually a real possibility in their case. Most prisons send sex offenders to the SHU, so if they do get convicted they'll be mixed in with a bunch of hard core pervs most likely. You can reject going into the SHU in most cases but that would be a horrible idea for them since other criminals hate pedos.

Do we have any evidence on Zangro being a tribesman? Not that I'd be surprised by it or anything, but I haven't seen any proof outside of a single screencap from wikipedia thats no longer there.

i was referring more to the acceptance and wide spread use of lolicon and iirc at one point straight up cp in japan,

How long ago was this? There were major crackdowns on psychedelics too, not sure if it was 2014 or earlier but it was around then. By the time I was there (2018) drugs were still easy to get but people bought them illegally from guys with tattoos. Shops didn't sell them, and I never bought any.

It wasn't ever really "accepted" by mainstream culture, the only reason possessing CP wasn't banned earlier is because of arguments over drawn cartoons, which is similar to the legal situation in the USA where CP needs to have real children like this film does. Japan is a country full of old people who take a long time to pass laws, but that's not because they thought being a paedophile was totally awesome.

Bestiality is a similar comparison. Some US states like New Mexico have it legalised, but that's not because most people are into it. it just hasn't been banned for some reason or other.

The only places where the average person is fine with stuff like this are shit holes like Yemen with traditional Islamic marriage law.

You can judge a man by the company he keeps.
Still a guilty by proxy logical fallacy.

A man is not responsible for the awful shit his associates may do without his knowledge.
That would be like me saying you’re just as bad as say, a hypothetical friend of yours being convicted for being a rapist. You were friends with him so that means you automatically knew what he was doing, right? That means you’re just as guilty.

It’s flawed logic.

Seems like a life or 2 ago. I don't like posting specifics on the farms but I was there from the mid/late 90s to early 2010s. I saw shrooms go illegal iirc due to a bunch of dickhead salarymen having a bad trip or whatever and causing a scene in some hotel (again, iirc, was during a business trip (to Guam?) and not even on Japanese soil).

My god that movie fucking sucked. I didn't know it was possible to make a science fiction film with slower pacing than 2001: A Space Odyssey but without any of the meaning. Such a boring slog to get through for no payoff whatsoever. How that ever got a greenlight or made it out of editing in its released form is beyond me.

The "nekkid babby" complaint is silly though. It's literally a guy bathing a baby for a few seconds. It's not even remotely portrayed as anything sexual, and certainly not done in the "zoom in on the crotch" style Cuties pulled. That particular objection reminds me of people who tried to get parents arrested for child porn production because they took photos of their infant/toddler children taking a bath. Very silly. Stop that.

Was the rumor about one of the girls showing a bare breast in one of the scenes real?
Yes. It wasn't one of the lead characters, but one of a competing team's members. Still way underage though, bare breast and all.

'Cuties' is disgusting trash where those 'audition tapes' went into the jerkoff collection database of some very powerful people. Just thinking about it reminds me of the scene in Ratched where Mildred and her step brother are forced to preform sexual act in front of a degenerate audience of men and women while their parents get paid. It is soft-core child porn and there is NO excuse as to why they couldn't have used young looking actors in the same roles rather than actual children. Also fucking bragging about 600+ auditions. What the fuck. This is not Oscarbait. You don't need to audition 600+ to find a cast of four or five for some fucking indie movie. Jesus christ.

Tbh its probably 'legal' in name only and falls under animal abuse statues instead. That's usually why some states don't have laws specifically against it. They just don't want to pay the money to write a law that would be redundant. Honestly, that's why a lot of weirdo laws are on the books that haven't been taken out because nobody wants to pay to do it. So I'm assuming its just a money issue and it already falls under animal abuse or they just follow federal statutes. I mean, if you can save 20 or 30k in labor/costs doing something redundant, why would you bother? The only reason is for PR since you're a state that has bestiality 'legal'.
