There is a thing I can be shown without warning that brings all the images of cute animals being gruesomely murdered and dead human bodies being mutilated which I had blocked out all come flooding back at once, just as vividly as when I first saw them.

So... that's a thing I know now.

And also it's 11 PM, and I am out of tissues.

Isn't that weird?

I was going to use this as a jumping off point for discussing how PTSD works and how people misuse the word "trigger" and maybe get into how sheltered little baby men who have never and will never experience trauma throw out the sort of thing that caused this incident because of some weird need to constantly test boundaries coupled with a complete lack of understanding why any boundaries of any sort exist, but frankly I'm still pretty damn not OK over here so I think I'm just going to lay down for a while instead.

So a few weeks back, someone contacted Violet on Twitter to say that they could fix her incorrect profile on BoardGameGeek and a related website. (It listed "Jake Alley" as an alternate name for Violet Hargrave, something that is literally impossible as they are two different people.) And Violet was actually borderline appreciative of the person doing this for her.

But as we all know, and as CLEARLY STATED at the start of this video, a dashing young man by the name of Jake Alley claims to be the creator:

You might be asking yourself why is Violet Hargrave trying to steal credit for a thirteen year old board game from innocent game designer Jake Alley? But I ask you to examine this more closely from a progressive point of view, clearly Jake Alley is the thief and a scoundrel. As a white male highly ensconced in the gaming industry he obviously forced trans woman Violet Hargrave to create the game for his company World Domination LLC then claimed credit. He probably did not even let her see a dime of profit. Correcting the record on websites like BoardGameGeek and Kiwi Farms is the least we can do to support trans women trying to make it in the chauvinist patriarchal game industry.

I can totally believe people get PTSD from looking at nasty pictures online; those moderators suing places like Facebook and YouTube for having then sit through the most horrific things ever committed to video can definitely have it.

But Jake lies through exaggeration. So all these images he was sent were most likely a couple he stumbled over when he checked out whatever chans he thinks are cesspits of evil that he has some kind of unique knowledge about. And of course a delicate flower like Violet would faint at the hint of such images, despite a stated interest in extreme gore and horror in the past.

For someone who is constantly breaking down and is never, ever OK, though, he sure thinks he knows how to run the world. But then, you find someone who tweets as much hate as Jake does (as well as people like Becky) and they'll also be whining about their mental illness and depression every. Damn. Time.

I believe that's his contention: that his 'job' with CON was to monitor the chans and he developed PTSD from all the ugly stuff he saw there. He took a bullet for Zoe, you see.

How do you hunt that which does not move? Everyone with any interest in him(so not bex, nora, zinnia, price...) knows exactly where he's been for the last half decade. Someone with good aim and a strong arm could have no-scoped him with a spear from the street and through the wall of his moms house because his movement patterns are that predictable.

Back in the day I did some low-level IT shit and ran across a video of some contractor in Iraq getting beheaded- one of the early ones and before I had every seen anything like that otherwise. Not gonna lie, it effected me (the sound is the worst). But I don't think it's reasonable to take an exposure like that and call it 'PTSD' in the same mold as someone being in combat or losing their kid in a car crash. Yes, we have an imperfect language and it's clearly something but it's closer to nothing than it is to the 'real' trauma people suffer.

I think a lot of the internet self-diagnosed ptsd is from people on the spectrum that can't actualize the social cues that put people in categories (much like another phenomenon with Jake). Yes, you saw something really ugly and it's okay if you're effected by it. No, you seeing something nasty on the internet should not be placed in the same bucket as people who were actually there experiencing it. Get your own bucket and call it 'secondary-trauma-disorder' or something. It would be the first STD jake would have to worry about.

He has also claimed that trolls sent shock imagery into whatever chat/email contact point he allegedly monitored for CON.

Of course he talks about all this as if it was something that was entirely done to him, as opposed to something he *volunteered for* because he thought it was going to be a ticket to money, clout, and his microdick in Zoe's mouth.

He kind of reminds me of ADF, except instead of playing soldiers, he’s playing at being an investigative journalist. A couple of losers pretending they’re all that stands between order and chaos, when in reality no one cares about them or their causes.

The Suicide Hotline has people on staff 24/7, so it can't be that.
The Trans Lifeline is also available 24/7, and this was posted at 10:53 PM which is within their primary operating hours; Definitely not that.
So in my mind that only leaves one possibility: There is another sort of hotline that despite having a strong incentive to answer every call, they specifically chose not to answer Jake's.

Basically, what I'm saying is, this nigga got blacklisted by phone sex hotline :story:
