Ya know. Powerlevel here, but I do night shift security. Work from 9Pm to 6AM patrolling fairgrounds in bum fuck nowhere. I'm freezing my ass off in blistering cold weather, while this 30 year old kid has all of his expenses paid for, gets to have mommy wake him up at 9 am for his stream, and just gets to leech.

It's the endless curse of a successful first-world society. Competent people who actually work hard are the ones who hold the whole thing together and build new things (while getting paid peanuts), while worthless layabouts enjoy all the luxuries because they learn how to grift the system.

You aren't wrong, but Chibi isn't exactly living the high life and I wouldn't be envious of him at all on any level.

He isn't one of those youtubers/streamers who can even make a living off of it, much less being well off/wealthy.

Off topic but I was watching one of his streams and I had to back out after like 2 minutes not just bc he’s boring as fuck but also bc I felt like I was gonna have a stroke with all the random shit he has moving around on the screen. How can people sit there and watch his stream while the entire lower half of it is dedicated to random Pokémon shit intended to keep people entertained bc chibi can’t do that himself?

Covering half the screen with an anime character seems to be popular with small time streamers.

It warms the cockles of my heart knowing that lolcows believe that blocking someone is an actual punishment. These people are so completely disconnected from reality that they think that clicking buttons on twitter will actually amount to something beyond shrinking their already tiny social circles. Cheebs is a fun cow, there's this earnestness to him that reminds me of my 3'rd/4'th grade self. I think we have some a lot of laughs coming down the pipe from this young(ish) man.

yeah it’s interesting how chibi constantly begs for followers on twitch but allows his mods to run rampant banning anyone for anything. Legit saw two randoms get banned from his chat last night one for doing the “be quiet” bit (understandable I guess) and the other for just asking what it meant and why they got banned for it, maybe I’m just naive but I think that person was legitimately asking and didn’t know what it was it did happen quite a long time ago.
