Are these pieces of shit seriously trying to avoid mentioning their names so that they can secretly bring them back in the future? Lol, you assholes aren’t going to weasel your way out of this one. The Internet know knows everything, those photos are everywhere and you can’t hide.

No. They likely can't mention Ryan and Adam by name because they were full time employees and legal could be telling them "keep it simple on the corporate account" to avoid any potential lawsuits.

Vic was mentioned specifically because he was a contract employee and RT simply didn't renew the contract.

"Leave the fandom!!!" "GTFO of our fandom!" "Go off to some other fandom."

gee, why is RT dying?

She's annoyingly histrionic, but I can't help but notice she's not naming names or coming up with her own stories about it, which is still better than RT or anyone treated Vic. It's almost like when there's an actual scandal not dependent purely on defamation, they don't need to constantly namedrop and shame.

Well in an actual scandal you want to be careful as you don’t really want the victims to be public unless they come out themselves. But what happened with Vic was obviously full fabrication from the get go.

Lindsay Jones seems a little unhinged herself. Like yeah, she's clearly hurt by it, but then she's using words like "our community" and how they called themselves "family" and it just comes off as creepy.

It was so much more honest when mean girls acknowledged they had cliques, instead of trying to pretend they were an entire community. I really think people like her ought to have been bullied more in high school. That way she wouldn't be trying to recreate all the toxic aspects of it out in the adult world.

At this point, anybody who dreams about working for Rooster Teeth needs to get their heads examined. You’re better off working at McDonald’s. At least that company doesn’t hide the fact that it’s a shit job.

This.

I am going to go against the potential flood here and say that RT's announcement regarding Ryan and Adam is actually more damning then the one they gave for Vic. Namely because they are basically saying both of them committed malfeasance, even if they don't mention their names. Through other means, everybody knows who this announcement concerns. There are very real legal reasons they don't want to connect employee names to accusations of wrongdoing.

Now compare that to the really vague one they gave regarding Vic. They mention Vic's name, but why are they not associating with him?

Keep in mind that Ty did not file against RT. I distinctly remember even Nick saying RT's announcement wasn't quite as actionable in the way Funimation's was (where there is a definite suggestion that their investigation into the sexual harassment claims netted a result they felt was unfavorable to Vic).

Overall, I think "RT corporate" handled this "okay." It's within SOP. I'm sorry... Lord help me.... but I think that's fair. It's the employees, acting independently of RT, that are the shitheals that can't control their verbal diarrhea.

I'll take my Xs and trash cans if you want, but I'd suggest people think about this a bit more.

The difference in treatment of people they like vs. people they don't is what tells the entire story.

Even Lindsay's unhinged ramblings at least paint a consistent picture that isn't "my truth."
Yeah she's a bit autistic for claiming to be the entire community but she's doing what every other woke privileged white woman does in today's environment. She feels the need to be a savior. But her reactions at least feel real. There is genuine anger.

If you look at how these people handled Vic, there's no real expression of emotion. It's insincere and inconsistent.

For those of you who like to watch behavior compare them and see. This is great reference because it gives us a clear perspective and a genuine reaction to a degree of wrongdoing that came out of left field.

....But with that in mind, I feel like they knew about Michael Quinn but chose to look the other way because not a single one of them showed any genuine emotions when addressing that.

Looks like the CYA is in full effect at RT.
I'm sure once this event broke they went right to legal.

Well, yeah. They should. Legal seems to have given them reasonable advice. You don't mention employee names (Ryan and Adam), and you ought not give specific reason why you are separating from a contractor (Vic). The key thing here is they didn't combine the two data points in either statement.

I think, on the whole, RT and Warner have a less retarded legal and HR department than Funimation and Sony.

That's not surprising considering that Sony Pictures Entertainment (SPE) has been an unprofitable liability of a division for as long as anybody can remember. Investors at Sony have been begging them to divest it from the parent, so that they can add some buoyancy to the parent company's market cap.

I don't like RT much, but I don't see much point in sperging out over this. I imagine Gator has to do something when Ralph is passed out in a pool of his own vomit. Guy has probably never worked for a major corporation in his life. He knows fuck all about human resources. He probably thinks it involves calling employees faggots and then playing clips from a soundboard.

Was looking through Chris Ayres to find a liked tweet from a while ago but decided to use these instead

I've said it once (maybe) and I'll say it again, emmitt is desperate to be a part of this, even if he "claims" to not care. He's kinda like ron, has that self important ego and always tries to get involved even when he is not a part of it. I was told he filed an affidavit that was full of perjury, but are we sure he isn't just ron?
