As for mignyan discord updates, an anon on csvents mentioned that susling has never successfully run a CS before, so that's a big fat F.

God, I feel real bad for the kid. Really hope she can get offline and get some help far away from this situation and the people that were around her.

That unsuccessful species in question is called Flukans. Apparently it came around in 2015 only to last until the next year.

As I was scouring the gallery I found three folders dedicated to draw-to-adopt contest entries for three separate adoptables (Autumn Equinox, Summertime Sadness, unnamed adopt). One of the three adopts have entries like

IDK why but that second species refence image reminds me of Glip's style.

When it comes to closed species, most die off. The only ones that can truly survive would be from huge already big known artists. That's why Dainties, chimerons, elins, scarfoxes and grems survive today and are sold for hundreds if not thousands. The creators's large audiences already would have bought designs by them but now they have a chance to buy these even more 'special' designs or even get a chance spot in their community buy a slot to make one.

Susling and all of their mods seem far more unknown when you compared them to even Casinos and some of mod staff. They're probably never going to fully get back to the hundreds if not thousands the previous migs sold for. They'll be lucky if adopts sell for a 100$. The most I can see them making off adopts might be in the 20-50$ range and I doubt they'd be able to get more well known guest adopt artists to help make adopts given the scandal tainted the name and there's no real exposure to gain from the name off these people.

Someone was shocked by how low Mignyans sold for. However, I'd argue the opposite. It sold for more than I think the new owner will ever be able to recover given how people are jumping ship to get away from the name.

Not sure about that. While I agree that their adopts are unlikely to sell for hundreds - let alone thousands - anymore, they wouldn't have any problem making the 1K back through MYO sales.

CS is strange and ingenious in the sense that there's absolutely no cost overhead. The new mods have nothing to lose except maybe a couple of hours of their time updating the trackers and whatnot. Even though the species took a big hit, there are still plenty of people looking for mignyans; supposing they kept the old price of $15/$25, they could easily earn 1K selling 40-50 MYO tickets.

There are also still some SOMEWHAT well known artists in the community like Lysandrecafe, Koidrop (artists whose adopts actually sell). So yeah, I think the new owners will make their money back. How much they will profit is another story though.

Actually, I think the Mignyan species will fare just fine, but never peak the same way it did with the old mod crew especially since one of the main selling points was having CASIN0S design the migs (btw even now there is a huge market for CASIN0S designs/mignyans. Nicole could have probably killed a baby and people would still want her designs lul). AFAIK even bigger artists like lysandercafe, koidrop, and etc. will still be willing to GA considering how they're still holding onto their CASIN0S and Mignyan designs.

The server was actually almost dead before this shit all went down with their latest MYO sale taking 12 minutes to sell out iirc (before they'd sell out instantly), but this gave them huge publicity and now its busy as fuck so idk. Maybe the activity will die down once people move on from the drama.

Sounds strange but seeing CASINOS being taken out like this is so fucking satisfying for me. She, along with 7Aikei IP blocked me after I made a edgy character in gakuran (my guess was that it looked like one of her main oc, Aum)

To join the cesspool, I heard there were alligations against CASINOS for drawing fetish (was it scat? or something) when she was a minor. There wasn't any proof, though. Casin0s loved ripping off designs- given the fact she literally ripped off Poppee the performer. Other rip-offs including this kinsona who is literally just Chiaki Nanami from Danganronpa 2 with animal ears. (https://toyhou.se/2652916.)
