South Park, meh, they used to be equalizers in the sense they satirized both sides - past couple of years they've shifted more towards the left, likely due to a general dislike of Trump and his presidency; definitely wouldn't expect to see them even come close to touching the topic now.

The left often judges race by skin color. The right tends to judge by ancestry, although many think you need to have a certain percentage of one type of ancestry for it to count (so George Zimmerman probably wouldn't be Black in their eyes). Sometimes people mix up culture in that too, which makes it confusing to label people who look one way but have little ties to the culture of their ancestors. Around racists, quantum Whites get called whichever race the racist likes best if they're friends or whichever race the racist likes least if they're enemies. It's a very weird situation.
