It's pathetic when you think about it in terms of viewers feeling like they're converting pundits, but I think you're totally right. In a really powerful way, we get off on the idea that our values are becoming universal.

I have a pretty good handle on her "lore" and a few other regular posters in the thread could probably contribute as well. Is it OK to write out an OP draft, and then post it in here later as the update to the thread OP?

Since she's on the front page, we've been getting a flood of posts asking very dumb/late questions about her, it's slowing down the thread but I can't blame anyone since the Dynastia OP from 2016 is just 1 video, and a couple sentences. The current OP doesn't have even the most basic info about her. I think people didn't think she would pan out as a lolcow in 2016, but she's been pretty milky, especially in the last year. There's definitely a lot to add that's new.

This is very likely. There was a study done in 2010 (and others since, but I can't find them at the moment) that indicate humans experience a reward sensation when their opinions are validated. The superchats and patreon subs paypigs utilize are literal examples of this: people paying talking heads to tell them what they already believe. This effect could certainly be intensified by an individual presenting themselves as someone going through a political shift. The effect being twofold: The viewers opinion is validated and the reward sensation is that much more intense because June is seeing the viewers truth (or perception of it). Whether this was an intentional move by June, I don't know. How long the paypigs will be willing to shell out cash to her also remains to be seen. But it is working for the time being.

Sure, but really ~3k a month is not a ton of money for a 30 year old to be making with no real room for significant career advancement. Not sure what her add revenue and supachat revenue is like, but I doubt it does more than double her patreon income. Maybe someone more knowledgeable can correct me there. 70k a year certainly is more than most people make, but also isn't mega impressive for a 30 year old working in a relatively insecure field born into the high upper-middle class with all the advantages that entails.

Let's compare to her major beef right now Lauren Chen who is about 26 and technically had less popularity on youtube based on subs when they were both independent. Blaze picked her up along with Crowder. She probably has comparatively excellent job security, and I'd gander that she is paid at least an equivalent amount to June. Furthermore, her career sets her up very solidly for advancement with Blaze's resources as some of their media figures retire and/or with other major and less major networks like Fox and OANN. She probably has already appeared on both and has solid networking connections within the industry. Any time she wants more exposure she can just go on Crowder if she can bear his awkwardness with women when on air. Finally, she doesn't appear to be hitting the wall, probably won't be any time soon because she is a happa, and she has a husband/fiance. What's more is that Lauren Chen appears to have never had to compromise her beliefs in her career as a pundit while June has had to pretend to be someone else.
