There's a few similarities to HIV and COVID-19, they're both viruses that have killed people and there's no cure for either. Yes there's antiviral medication for HIV but it doesnt eliminate the virus, you will have to take those antivirals for the rest of your life.
However, people have recovered from COVID-19 (you kinda can't from HIV). And the precautions to avoid HIV are easier than COVID-19.... After all I am sure there was never a global lockdown for HIV.
Point is: Billy is making a dumb and these viruses are very different from each other and not worth comparing. They're both issues but... yknow.

Labelle is a white middle class man with no risk factors for COVID other than obesity. He works from home anyway and his job is not at risk . He himself admits that he has little contact with others. Finland is looking to come out of the pandemic relatively well, both economically and from a mortality standpoint. Finland has universal healthcare if he should get sick. He comes to the pandemic from a position of incredible privilege.
