This is just my guess, but I think he got bored. He has said in a couple of videos that she didn't really understand the Youtube thing and that it was fine as long as he didn't bring any shame to the family name (fucked that one up). I don't think she went to any events with him, not even RTX. He basically had two lives, Ryan the at home guy and Ryan The Mad King. He got sucked into that character. I feel like he thought he could keep those two lives separate. If you have seen some of the videos where he talked about his past, he jumped around a lot with jobs. He was a model, a pool builder, IT guy. It took him a while to find something that he liked, which was AH.

I always wondered how one goes about getting a job with Rooster Teeth; I just never imagined Craigslist would be the answer. I believe when he was first hired, it was for IT stuff, then he just started to show up in videos randomly. Back when RT was in their first office building (when AH had 5 guys and 5 computers in one tiny office) Ryan's work desk was in the animation area with Monty. I wish I could remember which video was his first, it was either a MineCraft or that Mario portal game. Once they moved to the bigger office, Ryan's desk was in the room with the rest of AH.

As someone who was cheated on by their spouse, I can tell you that it takes a couple days for the rage to come to a proper boil. The first overwhelming feeling is numbness and a compulsion to carry on with the day-to-day facade (in public, work and at home) as if everything was just fine because it's so overwhelming.

She may never talk about it publicly at all. Being cheated on is humiliating and deeply painful. How did you not see it happening? How many other people knew what was going on? Friends? Colleagues? Everybody? Were they all just laughing behind your back for being the clueless trusting spouse? Why didn't anyone say anything to you? What horrible things did your spouse say about you while they were spending time with their paramour? Why weren't you good enough to "keep" them from straying? What crazy-awesome things did they do in bed together that your partner has never even considered doing with you? Most importantly, what else are they hiding from you, especially now that you know they can't be trusted to be honest or truthful?

Those are very hard questions to deal with, they don't leave your mind easily or quickly, and the answers are usually fucking awful (if you can ever even find them). She may never want to talk to anyone in public about any of it because of how embarrassing and painful it is to her.

There's also a legal consideration. She's probably staying quiet about it publicly because if she were to fly off the handle and rant and rave publicly, she might unintentionally say or reveal something that could work against her in a divorce proceeding. It takes some real self-control to resist the urge to just air all your dirty laundry publicly (I know from experience) but it's not worth the risk until after the divorce is final. That's when you can safely start flinging shit at the walls if you really need to.
