I think this is a case of the clueless, brainless Dem voters doing a good job of reflecting how the Democrat politicians have been approaching the issue. Pelosi's been waving Article 25 around purely as a "We don't like Trump so let's get rid of him" thing, and the Dem voterbase (especially the ones like the Krassenstein bros) is too stupid to realize that they're not supposed to outright talk about it like that.

Take a look at these charts. Here's the main one.

They all have that gap in the middle. Gallup calls the first 59% data point 2008, which means they asked people about it for 4 years, stopped asking after 2008, then started asking again at the end of 2016. Some of them are just presidential election years, but they still skipped one in there.

They just decided no one was interested in that information when Barack Obama was president.
