Like every other fandom, Smash Bros. community was always full of idiots. The only difference now is that the existence of shiteholes like Twitter and Tumblr have given them a far bigger voice than most gaming forums during the 90s and 2000s.
And on a semi-related note, I feel like this thread is becoming less about mocking the awful community that most casual fans avoid, and more about circle jerking about the game series itself. Whatever happened to just liking something without liking the playerbase?

Don't let it get to you. If you tell someone you play Smash, the reaction 80% of the time will be "What's Smash?" and the other 20% will be "oh, that fun party game where Nintendo characters beat the snot out of each other." Very few people know about (let alone care about) the autism.

Can someone clue me in on who this dumb nigger is? From what I can tell on twitter he got caught saying n*gger and is now bouncing between damage control to "fuck the smash community"

He's no one big in general. He has some good results but that's it. I have never seen someone turn an apology/explanation video into a stupid and horrible gameplay montage.

Honestly, I'm late, I don't know how much the salt is flowing, but wow, lol, people need to calm down about Minecraft making it into Smash. I honestly know it's all merely rooted in how many spergs want Smash to be this "ultimate hardcore cool and edgy video game cross over fighting video game that's totally srs business", in how they want all of the cast to be from games that are hits with the western anime/"hardcore" video game community (ie how there's Cloud Strife already). There's mods of Smash Brothers Brawl with Zero and Raiden from MGS and Jojo's Bizarre Adventure and Mugen, go play that shit, spergs. What, did the inclusion of Banjo Kazooie and cute and quirky mascots from other games that aren't toned to be "manly and cool" not get to the point that this is just a game to not get full sperg tard about? This is more autistic than the comments over the intro video edits of Guilty Gear Xrd's Heavy Day played over Smash Bros Brawl intro footage. Don't forget to have FUN over your video games and lol, calm down brah.

If the Smash Bros. community was really like that, they wouldn't have thrown a bitch fit over Byleth, Banjo-Kazooie would not have been a highly requested character since 1999, and they wouldn't have constantly whined and make salty memes over Waluigi not being playable. Your attempt to fight autism with autism does nothing but provide further proof that thread needs an infected tag STAT.
