I have come to believe that these companies, that have talent that go to fan conventions, should have clauses in contracts or employee codes of conduct (whichever applies) that spell out that it is prohibited to fuck attendees at said conventions.

I stopped attending these things in 2007. I'll be 40 in December ("When I was a child...").

I wouldn't say you should never go to one, but there is certain advice I would try to impart on people before they do.

One of them is to not fuck, or try to fuck, anybody at these things. Unless it's an SO you already know, and are bringing along. Another is be guarded around costhots. Another is go with friends.
